It is simple anon, there is still no clear timeline for adoption. SWIFT have announced another 'experiment', that'll doubtlessly take months to do and then who knows how many other 'experiments' and then they need to implement the actual design they go with into a product... this could take years. In the mean time link does sweet fuck all.
Let me ask you this: if you thought link was going to $100 in exactly a year would go all-in wouldn't you? But what if I told you that first it will go to $2 next week? Would you buy now or wait for the price to drop? In order for the price to pump, both short and long term expectations must be aligned. Because the link team literally never discuss timelines (and indeed missed their own deadlines) or gives the community milestones to rally around, this process can never occur. Chainlink literally can't pump, at least not until adoption/fundamentals force it to. This is also is why linkies are constantly asking why chainlink is held to a 'higher standard' and can't pump from speculation unlike other coins. Until such a time as either real timelines for expected token use can be used to generate a realistic value for link or until adoption occurs, link will continue to float along to the general sentiment of the market.

Honestly the test being on Sepolia basically means after this if all goes well they roll out real shit. They’ve gone from POC to testing an actual product on test net. The only next step is moving to main net. I wouldn’t imagine more than 6 months of testing.

By 2025 at the latest it actually happens. The only question is does crypto get completely demolished from regulatory fud in the meantime and is all the fucking waiting just opportunity cost and any asshole gets to buy sub $1 LINK.
