look you either wageslave, become an ''entrepreneur'' ie a whore on youtube, or start daytrading or inherit money thru rich parents or welfare

open a free account on tradingview and paper-trade for 6months the sp500 future. just 2 points means you earn 200usd.day with 2 lots, it's doable just by putting moving averages 20, 50, 200 and some rsi or stochastics and start trading 1hr before the newyork open.... Open an account to a cheap broker like ninjatrader or optimus future, margin for 1 lot for sp500 is 500usd. The problem is that people want more than 200usd/day and they start fucking up.

actually tradingview says you need their paid plan to paper trade the futures, so just use the cdf ''us500'' from oanda or peperstone as an equivalent for the demo account

you have to take trading seriously and you have to kill your greed and yo have to take partial profit all the time and you have to do 6months of demo and 6 months on micro-lots to gain lots of experience. That's the secret to trading.

If you are not smart, then you'll have to work hard. If you are climbing the uneducated ladder, then do this:
>work hard. Kiss ass.
1. Get promoted to be a supervisor (you probably only get paid $1 more)
>2 years later
2a. Ask your company that you want to be trained to be a store manager.
2b. Go apply to another company for a similar position that has a clear pathway for you to be a manager like Chick-fil-A or Costco.

Saving 2000 a month

HYSA has 25k
Brokerage has 40k
Retirement has 50k
Checking has 4-5k

Zero debt

I see such slow progress but it’s there. I am stuck because of cheap rent and buying a house would make me paycheck to paycheck. So I continue to save and hope compound interest does something

Sounds like your net worth is growing by 16.6% a month, and you're on track for your wealth to increase by 300% over the next year (assuming you don't put it in an ETF or stocks that grow it even further.)
What exactly is the issue here?

Day trading is hard/grinding work with little reward because it doesn’t scale that well. You’re likely going to lose more money than you’re comfortable with. Even if you make a lot of money on a trade here or there, you have to use a different strategy for entering/exiting if you want to make larger trades. That’s why all the “best traders” end up selling a course/selling access to their groups. You make a lot more guaranteed income doing that than you ever would have doing trading alone. In the end if you sell a course to 500 suckers, what difference does it make if it actually works or not

Put that money into altria, they just acquired vaping brand NJOY and should increase their dividend next payout. 8.5% dividend yield rn. Your problem is saving money and not making it work for you. Invest in a safe dividend aristocrat. I say keep 1000 in the bank put 5000 into altria, 5000/45(current share price) = 111 shares paying .94 every 3 months = 104.34 every 3 months. Trust me its going to feel super smug getting your first dividend check.

You've got enough money to take a gamble on something.

Buy a prawn boat, go to a storage container auction, or just put it down on a one way ticket to Africa so you can buy black market diamonds. If I were you I'd start an LLC then take out some business loans. Easy way to triple the money you have to gamble with, and worst case scenario you declare bankruptcy.

Because you'll never escape poverty by simply saving money. You can save at this rate for the next ten years and you'll have about 100k, that's barely enough to put a down payment on a house. Might as well go big and hope for the best.

/biz/ is anonymous, and humans love to lie, I would always urge anyone who visits this board to consider the people they know in the real world, think about how much money they have, and I mean actual money, not the value of their house. 57% of Americans have less than $1000. /biz/ is not special, or specifically selecting for high net worth individuals, the only thing it does have is the ability to lie.

It took my 10 years of hard work to save up 80k plus some money from my parents to finally be able to buy a house. 8.5 dividend is pretty much unsustainable. The amount of companies that have been able to issue a dividend that high for long periods of time is practically zero. In enough time you will watch there stock cut in half wiping out gains
