Anybody ever been to one of these? I just recently got into the Ocean King fish hunting games. And I must say going to one of these places is an experience so bizarre it almost seems like a fever dream. The joint I go to is disguised as a Vietnamese cafe with a backroom where people openly smoke meth like if they were smoking cigarettes. There was a chick sitting next to me that ran out of money and the house spotted her $20 twice and she ran out of that money too so when she went to ask for more and they said no she literally just went around the room offering blow jobs for $20 until one guy went to the bathroom with her and then she came back and instantly lost the money.

The people that work there openly walk around with holstered guns and there's scary looking gang members with face tattoos that chill people out if they start slamming their fists on the tables.....and yet it's a SUPER friendly environment.

Years ago (I'm talking like post 9/11) I used to play low stakes limit poker at skilled nursing facility and made a lot of money playing against old people that just gambled away their social security checks, and even went to a few "massage parlors" that also has an area for blackjack and poker, and even roulette but I can't seem to find any of those places anymore since these new slaphouses emerged seemingly out of nowhere.

I'm just curious if anyone else has experience hanging out at some of these places and wishes to discuss their experiences.

I've always had thing for gambling in general since I was a kid. The absolute best story I have was when I ditched school to go play at this one place that was a karate/gym, but there was a secret room where you could bet on sports and card games and it was also a brothel as well. I liked it because the poker games were all small stakes low limit and there were really hot Thai chicks that would dance on tables while you played....and then suddenly all the TVs broke to the 9/11 attacks and everyone in the room just stopped playing and we all just watched the whole thing go down. It was surreal because even the strippers/prostitutes stopped and sat down on the poker tables as we watched the towers go down....eventually the old guy that ran the place cut the power to the televisions and told us to get back to playing or leave, and we all just cashed out and left.

lol yeah, kind of a shitty place where shitty people hang out (which includes myself of course). Anyways, I befriended a meth head on the street randomly who took me to one of these places. No signage at the front, just on the corner of a main street to the side near the alley is a door that leads to a place where dealers, prostitutes, and gangsters hang out. So yeah, after a few months the meth head stole my bike so I anonymously tipped the cops that the owner of the place was selling untaxed smokes and made it look like the meth head who stole my bike brought the cops to their den lel. Yeah, of all fucking things that was going on in there, it was selling untaxed tobacco from out of state that really pushed the cops to bust the joint

I went to one of these once. In Las Vegas of all places. You'd think there was enough gambling to go around there that you wouldn't find it there but there it was. There were Rusian girls that paced around and asked for Ecstacy, ketamine, etc....You're right about the politeness. Almost unearthly politeness. As long as everybody pays their bills. I didn't have a bad time. I could feel when it was time to have my luck run out. A win win for everybody.
