I work at a desk with two crypto bros (talking about crypto right now). I'm in 6 figure hell and they are probably low 5 figure hell. They know it and seethe. When I recently 5xd (Wojak) and got out at the top, one guy's lip was twitching he was seething so much. The envy in everything he said was so transparent.
I should be retiring after this next bullrun, so I'm just keeping my mouth shut about my portfolio. People seethe, accept it and adjust if you don't like it

Ive been dealing with this the last few years, Ive cut almost everyone out of my life and Im down to 1 friend, by my own design. I quit work exactly a year ago in 2 weeks because of this. Ive seriously had enough of emotionally unstable normies with the crabs in a bucket mentality, I don't think I've EVER projected this jealousy onto any man better than I, maybe this is the power of a 2 parent household.
Even if you threaten them with implied violence and they concede, they'll go back to falling into these habits. Its like yelling at your cat for pissing on the carpet, you can't teach them self awareness.
I've realized the best revenge is to let them continue their way of life, its surprising how much more damage they do to themselves than you ever could.

second guy is also chronically fat always trying to lose weight (read: extreme meme diets like carnivore + 20 hour fasts to the point he finally breaks and goes on two week long binges of the most disgusting fast food 3/4 times a day) almost never works out because he doesn't feel well (poor sleep, stubbed his toe, headache, etc... any excuse). Blames genetics, says that it is unfair I am in shape and that again I am just lucky (hint: I eat a balanced died and work out every day even if I am not feeling it).

I've known both of them for 25 years but the friendships have really soured over the past 2/3. Pretty much don't talk or see them now they've become so bitter.
