Hi there, new to the forum but I thought I'd share my experience so far with using Kickfurther (kickfurther.com) to reach credit card spnding bonuses and get airline miles. I'm a college student so I can't spend too much money in my MS strategies but the results are definitely scalable for those with more income.

So what is it?
Imagine Kickstarter except that you earn your money + profit as a reward for being part of a crowdfunding campaign. The business model is actually a form of online consignment in which you purchase the inventory needs of existing product businesses and then as that inventory is sold, you earn the paybacks on a monthly basis. Kickfurther allows participating with credit cards which is one of the main benefits for the points/miles crowd.

The flow of money
The typical campaign on Kickfurther takes between 6-10 months to completely payback. With that said, it's important to understand the different parts of the flow of money and stages that business go through.

Upcoming: A brand just made their campaign visible to the community. I use this period to look at the different terms a campaign offers as well as the credibility of the brand. You can take part in campaigns you really like with a Kickfurther key, but otherwise the campaign is locked until it goes live.

Live: At 5PM EST everyday (well most days) new brands go from Upcoming to Live meaning you can enter them without any key.

Funded: After a brands campaign completely fills (it's an all or nothing platform) they enter a "Lead Time" in which they have time to source the inventory. The brand sets the lead time before hand which is public to view.

Selling Period: Once the brand has sourced their inventory, they begin selling inventory. Kickfurther recently added that you can start selling the inventory to in alignment with their business model.

Monthly Payouts: On a monthly basis, the brands pay you back as the inventory sells.

What could go wrong
In chronological order of the flow of money. Here is a brief rundown of the risks of Kickfurther.

Brands have issues in sourcing their inventory: Whether that's from manufacturing issues or import issues, sometimes brands experience issues in the timing of their "lead time". This is a pretty rare occurrence and actually doesn't affect your money too much besides the timing.

Brands don't sell as much as they expected: When setting up their campaigns, brands are in a sense predicting what they are going to sell over the next couple of months. If they undersell, they can either repay you partially on the monthly basis or in my experience, they continue to payback fully but with outside funds so as to not upset their supporters.

Brands don't sell anything: One of the main risks with Kickfurther is that a brand fails to sell their inventory at all. This was a more prominent issue at the beginning of Kickfurther (they launched Jan 2015) but has been decreasing due to improvements in the screening of the brands that they allow on kickfurther. Additionally, if you know what to look for, you can dodge a large majority of these.

My Stats
So far I've taken part in 14 campaigns with just under 2K in the platform. My overall experience has been overall positive. A couple of those campaigns have paid back extremely early compared to their initial set schedule. Of the few brands that have I have experience campaigns, the business owners has posted updates in regards to what is slowing down the schedule which helps ease my mind.

Recommendations / Tips
After being on the platform for almost a year there are a couple of key take aways which will the experience on Kickfurther a lot smoother.

Look for campaigns that have a purchase order associated with them. Essentially, these are pre-sold which means that the risk for issues during the selling period are very low.

Look for how brands distribute their products. I look for larger retailers such as REI, Target, Etc.

Diversify your campaigns. As with anything, not putting all your eggs in one basket is a key strategy.

Kickfurther is a medium - long term method for Manufactured Spending with credit cards(about 6-8 months for me). Kickfurther seems to be constantly improving which means a better experience for newer users.

Seems like an easy enough way to get airline miles. For once, OP is not a faggot.
