What a fun ride, and really good lesson to learn. I'm glad I was right there, and in it as it happened. My learning/gambling stack (just some 200 dollary) shrunk by 40% this day, but who cares. Maybe get it to 50cents so that they can unload as much as they can.

Then xvg will crash to oblivion, only to be resurrected, by the same group of whales, in a year or two after people have forgotten about this.

The strategy is to exit some of your xvg, enough to make a decent profit at the upcoming pump, and hold a little bit just in case it goes higher like $1-15.

Then as it crashes to near 0 satoshi, buy dirt cheap xvg's and just wait for the next pump in a year or two.

Well I'll tell you what I've found out with a quick investigation, I do not own verge btw
Simply put, they have worked almost 2 years on the same thing with only one main developer and they have not cared enough to actually get some people to help with the development outside marketing.
If you see the posts of few months ago from the developers on reddit you can see the same shit that's happening today, everything will be fine after it releases and its going to the moon yada yada.
Most of the project is just marketing, all the future development (RSK, atomic swaps etc) is just more copying of what other coins have and all the work depending on a single person which may or not be actually working.
Personally I do not trust the project at all, and I believe they will only release an update to their wallet and call it "phase 2", probably gonna get gutted during peer review and testing and the blood is going to flow for a few months until the new "phase" is ready to pump it again to some retards.

If still had a position I would stay until one or two days before the release but I don't expect it to get back to 2000 after losing more than 1b in crypto newb's first crash, this is of course speculation of mine.
