I've been applying online (ziprecruiter) to construction worker/general laborer postings, but none of them have gotten back to me. I'm beginning to think applying to jobs online is a big scam. On reddit they advise going to a temp agency, is this my best option?

Applying online to construction jobs sounds very weird anyway. If you’re in a blue state just contact a local union and try to get on. If you’re in a red state then you’ll have to contact the individual companies but they pay less and you’ll be competing with spics
