Only flaw I find too, they went into market too low so these shares will be annoying short term. However, consider how tight the share structure is, its something i'm willing to go past. Especially when you look at their drill result, that's NFG level.

I feel like aggressively shorting silver and going long gold to play the potentially huge uptick from the market falling out - but the risk is that any such event could cause circuit breakers. I thought about this post over the last 24 hours. Three years ago most of us, aside from Panman and perhaps a few others, were true novices related to miners and commodity investing. If the commodity super cycle had happened then, let's be honest here, most of us would not have benefited from the major gains, because we would have just been lucky to stumble upon the bull market at it's onset, and we did not understand the fundamentals of what was happening.

The last 2 -3 years, though tiresome, have been a blessing. We were all given the time we needed to accumulate, increase our DD skills, and research the commodity market and resource companies in depth. We aren't newbs anymore, and when the sun shines gloriously upon our hidden valley of financial assets we will be able to navigate the landscape with finesse, strategy, and tactics.

>Per tradewinds news
China’s coal imports have almost doubled in the first quarter of this year as its manufacturing sector got back into full swing following the pandemic, boosting demand for capesize bulkers and panamax bulkers in the Pacific basin.

The country, which imports most of its coal from Indonesia, Russia and Mongolia, imported 102m tonnes of coal during the first three months of 2023, up 96% from the 51.9m brought in during the same period in 2022, according to China’s General Administrations of Customs

It has been years since China has taken in that much coal, but iron ore is still its top dry bulk import by far, said John Kartsonas, founder of Breakwave Advisors, an asset management firm that runs an exchange-traded dry bulk fund.

“China imported the most coal in the first quarter since 2020, which is quite an accomplishment given that Australian exports are not yet into full force,” he told TradeWinds.

China imported 294m tonnes of iron ore during the first three months of this year, according to government data. That is up from 268m tonnes imported during the same time last year.

Greater demand for electricity from the service sector as China reopened from the pandemic also contributed to higher coal imports, said Burak Cetinok, head of research at London-based Arrow Shipbroking Group.

China is also building coal inventories ahead of the peak season to avoid power shortages that could hamper the economic recovery, primarily to the benefit of panamaxes and supramaxes, he said.

I'm not even opposed to a small state, but right now we have far bigger problems than a large state - white replacement and jewish power. If those are not dealt with, the west will turn into a hellscape you can't even imagine. You are obsessing over the colour of the drapes while the house is on fire. Inb4 but if only we had an ancap society the other problems could be solved, maybe, but there is literally a 0% chance of getting an ancap system in the west anytime soon. i am not an assayer but the above but i ll try and explain how some of this works (i may get this wrong sorry in advance).

The idea is to add a chemical that makes the sample more reactive to a sensor in an assay setting, small samples. It seems to be effective, which would make assaying on site a lot more effective, with less reliance on labs with major and expensive setups. However, there are a lot of different techniques like this out there, but they often run into issues with contamination from other elements or other issues that makes then poor substitute for more conventional assays. It will be interesting to see if this goes any further, assays are expensive, the cheaper the tech the better!

My problem is that ancaps like you ignore the importance of race. It doesn't matter what system you implement in Africa, it will always be a shithole because of the people living there. The browner America gets, the worse it gets. And the brown people all vote democrat for gibs and blaming white people for everything, they are never going to stop doing that. We are only going to see more collectivism, racial collectivism in the future, because multi racial societies don't work. Unless you have a situation like South Africa when whites ruled. But that is not going to happen unless jews lose power, because they are anti-white.

Nigger,
You don't know shit about banking, finance or currency that didn't come from the back of a cracker jack box. If you think peter Schiff is the poster boy for anacap it's because you saw it in a single frame far side calendar with talking dinosaurs. I'd trust a carney with every nickel I have before I trusted you with enough pocket change to go back to playing a broken pinball machine. I’ve been typically in an out of all facets of biz, but commodity DD really teaches someone how to actually research just about any asset class. Between shady executives, murky at best mining results to surveys, it translates well to the rest of the investment world. Finding that one true gem is about as satisfying as it gets, just a matter of time before it really rewards itself. But just like everything else, it’s smart to actually have half of it in safer, more stable places (like Barrick) and allocate smaller portions to shitcoin-esque risk/reward plays like Blue Lagoon or Bayhorse (which turned out to be all risk, kek).

Anatacau isn't important for the company anyway. Might provide some non-dilutive financing by selling it to Allkem.

The company is trying to sustain market interest by releasing the intercepts prior to the assays, which will be a few weeks out still.

The narrative prior was that there is no discovery. Now they pull lithium out of the ground and people are moaning about something else supposedly wrong with the company. It's sour grapes.

It was obvious when the company was $0.19 for anyone paying attention.

They have a huge land package accounting for over 200 pegmatites, many expressing spodumene at surface, and they have been extremely aggressive with staking.

Anatacau isn't a major component of their land holdings. It's just a cherry on top and this PR showcases that their methods for determining the lithium bearing potential of undrilled land is at least credible.

If they're pulling these kinds of intercepts out of unimportant land, they're going to be pulling things out of land which is meaningfully material to the company and sour grapes dummies on the sidelines will seethe over it.

The trend is your friend. If a retail following and hype make you turn away from a trade, that's certified retardation. That's exactly what should interest you in a trade, especially a short term one.

BRW's price has proven stability and the private placement at $0.85 established a price floor which has held up in the market for over a month.

At this point, you need to consider if the Brunswick story will bear any fruit. Anyone with half a brain can determine that there will be newsworthy events coming out of the company which will translate to positive share price appreciation. The stock didn't move much yesterday on the PR because the Anatacau property means basically nothing to the company. At best, they procure a ~$5M bid for it from Allkem and roll the revenue from the sale into more drill programs and exploration.

I find EV sector beside Copper not interesting at all, way too much hype about this shit. Risk too high while a sure win with Gold.

>> No.54680337

>>54680264
Yes, it was obvious. There has been no additional information released since it went from $0.19 to over $1 which would influence a decision to purchase shares.

The only thing that has changed is they have increased their land holdings by several orders of magnitude and, with yesterday's PR, proven that their exploration model can produce results.

If anything, it's even more of a no-brainer than it was a quarter ago.

Gold and Silver are memes. Fools are obsessed with them. Governments aren't pumping literally billions of dollars into the gold and silver sectors. Regardless of how you feel about the so-called "energy transition" and green energy, the money being pumped into the sector is going to make it into the pockets of shareholders.

Making money on this narrative does not require belief in the narrative, or even the ultimate success of the narrative, money will be made and the trades will be closed long before the actual viability of the narrative is tested.

Again, the trend is your friend. The trend does not favour gold and silver at this moment and you've probably lost capital betting against the current.

An additional factor to consider is that literally every single car manufacturer has committed to large transitions of their product lineups into EVs. This requires intense CAPEX to build out factories and production capacity for EVs, which do not undergo the exact same manufacturing process as ICEs.

As such, the capital inflow into the sector isn't merely from governments (which are frequently retarded in the way they spend money). The actual industry is investing just as heavily into the "energy transition". These are actual businesses which need to produce profits and stay ahead of the curve.

Anyone who can't see the writing on the wall in terms of where capital is being allocated in the commodities sector is certifiably retarded. There is no polite way to put it.

Get your head out of your ass and take and look at the extremely telegraphed actions of governments and industry leading corporations from countries around the world.

I'll just let you know that I've screencapped this shit so I can remind your dumb ass how wrong you were in a few months, just like that other Emerita bagholder faggot. As for BRW, it can go up & down, doesn't matter to me, I don't chase green dildo.

His thesis is much stronger than the Emerita faggot. That guy saw a small pump and started saying shit to the effect of "The ship has sailed. Those with vision have already made it for life. The rest of you will have to work." In conversation, he'd wax poetic about how he picks his companies. Just on and on and on. Then Emerita got dicked. Shit was hilarious. Bunker Hill anon is the only one I trust fully. As for BRW. I guess if it hasn't pumped in a week then I'll pick up a small bag. I don't think he's wrong. I think that when the EVtards face the reality about minining capacity VS green energy demand, lithium and copper will make investors very rich. But I also fully subscribe to the precious metals thesis. Industrial metals will crash hard because industry will grind to a halt. Yet there's a pretty good chance that a stock like BRW could release some great results and become a twenty bagger before then. Hell, the gold and silver thesis has been "about to play out" for 50 years. His whole thesis could play out before then. I see where hes coming from. Ah well. To each his own.

That's exactly what the saltbros said before the PEA, but it crashed 50% since then. Heard of the sell the news phenomenon?
But I haven't even looked into the stock, not interested in lithium.

Aside from the fact that I did get in before the mass of retail, you're wrong in your assertion. Maybe for pump and dump scam lifestyle companies like Bayhorse, but Brunswick is an actual company, doing actual exploration, with an experienced management team which has previous experience in getting mines into production.

The people around here need to stop with their incessant black and white thinking. It isn't always true that you need to avoid something merely because there is hype.

I am not of the opinion that there is 0 risk with BRW. They could flop. The chances of it are extremely small given they have over 200 (last time I looked, they have since expanded their portfolio substantially) pegmatites to test. They will find something. The PR from Anatacau shows that they know what they're doing. These aren't morons doing exploration because "lithium is hot hurr durr" so they picked up some dogshit land package to pump and sell shares. The chairman of the company owns 44 million shares himself and has sold exactly 0.

I could scarcely give a fuck about SALT, Emerita or any other pump and dump scam you guys have gotten yourselves into. I know nothing about them.

>>54680864
This anon understands the extremely simple thesis.

I don't know how so many people fall for the GnS meme, which basically boils down to an appeal to tradition for the investment thesis.

Do I think GnS are dogshit investments? No, but they sure as hell aren't going to do what the majority of people here are hoping they will.

Ultimately, the story for Gold (and to a lesser degree silver) requires the system as we know it to collapse. At that point, your priorities won't be looking at prices fluctuate and little lines going up and down. None of this will mean anything.

If that doesn't happen, GnS will not pull the spectacular returns people are hyping it for. Gold is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" type of investment.

If I was that faggot trumping up my returns over 2 or 3 years, you would have a point. A decade is a very long time to be doing this and not have blown your account up.

We're all wrong sometimes. You just make sure that you win substantially more money than you lose.

Either way you've contributed exactly as much to thread as bob has over the years, making you the same sort of shitstain you accuse me of being. Which I can respect, but nobody else here is likely to appreciate your "contributions."

I'd be there in a heartbeat if they had normal daylight hours. I depend too much on the sunlight, I'd probably eat a bullet my first winter there.

I've considered moving to leafland a few times, just for the socialized medicine. In my country if you're disabled or have someone in your family that's disabled, it's pretty much a guarantee of extreme poverty for life. The medical bills will keep an american bankrupt. In Canada they just tell you to kill yourself or put you on an endless list where you never get the service you need. That and your effective tax rate doubles and everything is twice as expensive.

America does have a quasi socialized healthcare (medicare / medicaid) and an industry that is massively over regulated which is the reason why healthcare costs are so expensive. Deregulate healthcare and prices will drop like a stone.

Also, when government controls something they control who gets it. I fled Canada when they larped as Nazi germany during covid and moved to the states. The government wants trying to revoke EI for the unvaccinated for goodness sake.

I already mentioned your problem with risk management, you've operated in only good times and have never experienced a recession. So the next time one hits, you will be wiped out.

Less than half the thread is trading, and probably for good reason. As you say, fundamentals don't matter for trading, but taxes and initial investment sure do. I know you started with little cash, and others here would start with even less. I assume you don't pay taxes, if you did your gains would be mostly gone. These are problems with your strategy, and reasons most people can't do it even if they understand what you're doing.

I have trouble gauging intellects so low, but I've had practice and I'm getting better at it. I have a brother that's in the 135 range and I can generally understand how he thinks after years of talking to him.
both my kids and both my wives are well above 135. As are most of my siblings and both of my parents

it was in the lava fields of Mt. Lassen, near the Oregon border. I can't remember the exact name, might have been the blue bucket or the head of the nail or it might have been a different story entirely.

Sometime in the Oregon trail or California gold rush era.

It doesn't seem to be the blue bucket, that looks to be further north. The other story had someone on the trail near Lassen finding a bunch of gold and then being murdered by his wife apparently. If I remember right. They thought it was a natural death but someone noticed a nail driven into his skull. Only after his death do they find a barrel of gold nuggets in his possessions. Not sure if the story is true, or if I'm remembering it right

could be two stories stuck together, there is a "blue bucket" story in my archives but its further to the north over the border into Oregon, the info I have may be obscured as well, loads of these stories floated around in news papers in that period.

Yeah I could be combining a couple. I'll check my paper library later, I probably got it out of one of the treasure books I collected as a kid.
