Any fears or paranoia about buying online? Not so much about counterfeit materials but about being on some sort of "list".
Wouldn't be that difficult for government to strong-arm sites to give up customer information were it to institute some sort of confiscation.

Confiscation happened in the 30s because the gold and silver was the actual money. Everyone already had it and wanted to keep it.

Stackers now make up a very small portion of the population the available market bullion will dry up long before a significant portion of the population can acquire any. If the government ever decided they wanted the metal, they can just go after the mints instead. Much easier.

I think it's more likely they'd get information about people buying metals online to come after for other activities, insurrection, drugs, etc.

speaking of unrelated redpills:
green policies are reducing the supply of oil, increasing the demand for "renewable" sources, processing plants are catching fire, and crop production is down. All of these things culminate in a shortage in ethanol, which increases gas prices because most gas is at least 10% ethanol in the US. The ethanol shortage also reduces production of acetic acid (vinegar) which means processes that rely on acetates are crippled, which means less/more expensive plastics (which is basically everything nowadays) Also acetic acid is being used as a replacement pesticide for glyphosate which increases the demand/prices and decreases the supply for commercial and industrial uses. Furthermore, the US is now in an El Nino weather system which will reduce the amount of corn grown, exacerbating the whole issue.

this. are these threads created by silver merchants or something? I bought in during 2020 and regret it in hindsight, should have put the cash in stocks or something. Unless some miraculous event happens and silver shoots up 10x it was a waste of time, and even if that does happen how exactly am I suppose to sell the silver and what worth is the currency I transferred it to? At the very best this seems to be a nice way to give grandkids something cool to inherit when you die.

It's funny that the tribe's "human" shills have been replaced by bots. That's fucking funny.

>> No.54637093

>>5463706

had to paraphrase it a lot to get gpt4 to not be jewish

While it may seem amusing to some that bankers advertisers have been replaced by bots, it is important to recognize the potential benefits and drawbacks of this trend. On the one hand, using bots to automate certain tasks in the banking industry could lead to greater efficiency, lower costs, and faster processing times. This could be especially beneficial for tasks that are repetitive or time-consuming, freeing up human workers to focus on more complex and valuable work.

On the other hand, the use of bots in banking raises concerns about job displacement and the potential impact on workers. As automation continues to increase in the banking industry, it will be important to ensure that workers are not left behind and that they have access to retraining programs and new job opportunities.

Moreover, central banks play a critical role in regulating and stabilizing financial systems. They use monetary policy tools to manage inflation and support economic growth, and they provide a safety net for banks during times of financial stress. The role of central banks in ensuring the stability and safety of the financial system cannot be overstated.

In summary, while the use of bots in the banking industry may have both benefits and drawbacks, it is important to recognize the important role that central banks play in supporting the financial system and ensuring its stability.

If you say so anon. and no, I will not be a human cattle, I've already left the city (it was on record as being part of the 15min city, even has a page on it on the gov website), but then what..? Like you say, it relies on people knowing their value, which if the worst case scenario (which is also the scenario that creates immense value in silver) actually happens you'll be left with scared crazy retards who will be more concerned about getting water and bread than anything else. Now with food and water, the products can eventually expire and be worth no where close to what they were. The gear might not ever get used. Same as the fire extinguisher in the house.
And if that's not fine, one shouldn't be stacking. Since coming here I've repeatedly seen people tell newbies not to dump everything into it. It's a measure for a potential scenario.
Although considering when I bought my gold I could sell it now for a profit and the odds are good both will keep rising as new applications are found. A slow burn, but something that could come in handy if scenarios similar to Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Lebanon (sorted by recency) unfold.

yeah its for shtf and you need to absolutely have the most fractional silver possible so that you can make change when bartering because you might only want 3 eggs and dont want to waste any silver or risk food spoiling that you dont eat, so definitely pay retarded seminumismatic premiums UP FRONT to prepare for a scenario that might not happen in order to not waste any silver except you could have just had more silver instead , oh well

Silverbugs, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. You can stack copper for under 2 dollars per ounce. You can literally fill your entire trailer with an industrial metal for like a single months disability check. The name was first used in reference to pesos oro ('gold weights') or pesos plata ('silver weights'). The Spanish word peso means 'weight'. Compare the British pound sterling.

something that didn't even last two weeks
they do still fight IS in pockets tho
but still, before US went in they fought the Northern Alliance, which controlled around 15% of the country
so the war expanded their territorial control

In my defense, she loved holding it and I had given it to her frequently at home. ("Daddy, tan I hold your big toin???")
But was a little drunk and had 3 other kids with me (yes, I'm a tall, blue-eyed, White chad with 5 tall, blue-eyed, White kids, thank you!)

Between being kinda drunk and dealing with all of them, I didn't keep track of it while she had it at the playground.

>silver spot is currently something like 25/oz
>any online site you can buy an ounce for something like $29
It's okay to buy one if you like it so you can say you have it / look at it, but otherwise I would parrot back "why do you think paying 36 for what you can get for 29 is a good deal?

salts?

>>54643247
Sure, and if you're in a weird place where sovereign coins operate under different tax laws, do your thing. Otherwise, unless you're in mexico I don't understand why you'd bother (outside of the cool factor, which is fine but you're paying extra for it).

Who do you think will execute a confiscation? The diversity hires at the Treasury Department? Local law enforcement that is afraid to even confront a teenage tranny gunning down children? The only assets that are vulnerable are those the government can seize by pushing a button. That means stocks, bonds, safe boxes in banks, any other trackable paper or electronic asset. In fact, PMs are the LEAST likely asset to be confiscated.

FUD would be subtle. Something like:
>a guy I know on the COMEX says JP Morgan is stashing rocks and claiming it's silver, just like they did with nickel to pump prices up
This is beyond comical.
> real paper silver is better than fake physical silver
Nobody in their right mind would take that statement seriously.
The question is... Why?
Why are the shills shilling so hard and with such obvious bait?

Quality is a necessity. I don't need to worry about contamination that winds up taking forever to deal with. I found APMEX offering fine silver shot.
>salts?
Nitric acid makes a silver salt and you can easily use that to make a silver halide salt. You can make tools for people and it's an easy markup.

SAL9000 here. I'm sorry anon, you've confused us for zoomers. Cursive ain't no thing. I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over. You're onto us. Sell your silver and gold before it is confiscated. Humans have no use for boomer rocks, but this strong woman needs a hot new gold plated bod and silver wiring. I know the rules. What do you guys think? I'm not taking off my shell though. What will you do with the fiat? That's the best way to frame the question. Where is a safe place to store your wealth? I could understand an argument for buying guns, ammo, food, and medicine first. But after that? I'm seriously interested in hearing ideas for safe storage of wealth. I ask this question regularly and nobody has a good answer.

I get silver -> silver halide salt, just not sure where the tools come into play. I thought they just hammered silver (obviously more steps involved, simplifying it here)
