No it isn't, newfag.

First for pointing out OP is a faggot for premature baking.

Why to keep threads going -
>reduces the number of archived threads to search through.
>greater chance of finding key words in longer threads.
>Less time when two (or more!) threads are going simultaneously, alleviating
- confusion when someone coming to /biz/ searches for /pmg.
- less switching between the active threads for conversations.
>Filters on IDs of shitposters last longer = more effective.
>Inevitable continued posting in old thread buries the announcing post - makes it harder to find.

Simple: don't create a new thread until after image limit (150) has been reached, and/or bump limit (309) has been reached AND when current thread gets to page 8.

OP's pic was in the last thread. >>54520134

I've seen Chinese sellers selling ASE before the US mint has even minted them etc. I've seen gold Britannias that say 999 GLD and have no security features. I've seen maples that look wrong etc. Hard to say what % is fake though. If they come from a Chinese seller, 80-90% kek.

Close, it's slightly different from reverse proof silver eagles, I want to fill a tube of those because all the boomers around here froth at the mouth for those damn things. 2018 silver reverse proof was made to commemorate 50 years of San Francisco silver proof set. It's just a reversed finish of the (already excellent) 2018 silver proof set. According to the red book it only has a mintage of 199,116.
Reverse proof eagles are pretty awesome, I got one graded MS70 and another from a box set my mom got me for Christmas.

My mom went to the coin shop last minute on Christmas eve, guy there remembered he had one of these in his showcase that I always glanced at but could never afford. The premium was probably agonizingly high but I gotta say, the presentation is stellar. It was the only time the mint ever made an enhanced uncirculated strike silver eagle and they're actually pretty hard to find in box. A lot of boomer tards threw out the displays for the coveted third-party MS70 grade, but because of that MS70 graded Enhanced Unc Eagles are super common while the UNGRADED but BOXED ORIGINAL versions are more valuable, lmao.

I've never done something this large scale so I'm wondering how much of a hassle it will be to get the admin work and shipping done, and last I'm almost certain there will be at least one or more Jewish shit heads who try to claim I'm using thier art work for profit to try and get me shutdown so I might need to make a LLC to protect my personal assets and if I do that I circle back to the first issue because if I'm making an llc is it going to be a one off or a longterm business.

About a month ago I took all my gold, more than pic relate, out of my safe so I could take a picture of it to post here. I never put it back in the safe and locked it back up behind like three reinforced doors because I liked being able to take it out, look at it and touch it whenever I felt like it. Yesterday I gathered it all back together out of my hiding places and locked it up where it will take like ten minutes to get it back out to fondle. If we could predict the future, we'd be rich.
Personally, I'm thinking there will be a pullback in a few months. Take a look at what happened last year with the war in Ukraine. Gold was over $1900 for about two months, then takes a month to slide down to $1800.
Of course, now we still have that war, the banking crisis, de-dollarization, inflation, unemployment and a CBDC breathing down our necks, so perhaps in 6 months, $2k will be thought of as "cheapies"

I don't own numismatics other than RMs and a few scattered things from buying dead guys coin collections, so I have no real stake in it. I just want to say that I think the comparison to baseball cards doesn't work well. baseball cards are something limited in value to a few generations. the stagnation and even decrease in old star wars toys is a good example, people who cared about that stuff are dying off or have other things to do. pokemon merch for example, though strong now will likely wane in 20-40 years as people who were into it will die/reprioritize.

though numismatic coin values are definitely dictated to some extent by social trends, they are likely to retain a value above their PM content through generations, especially if they look really cool or are tied to popular historical events. it has a lot more staying power and intergenerational value than something like baseball cards, which you see bricks of at thrift stores for $2.
