The resume is fine. You, however, suck. Get a "not working retail as a cover for child predation" job.

nah its pretty good, write a generic cover letter and copy/paste phrases from the job duties for each specific job, come up with a good excuse for latest gap in employment (sick family member, going back to school, etc)

A professional guy I talked to the other day said to put a 30 second elevator speech on top of everything else at the very top of the first page. He said most people will just throw it away if they don't like what they see on those first few lines.

Put your skills under between your name and all your work experience that should be you hook also the interest section is gay but I can see you're struggling to fill the page.

Try to not steal my catch phrases too much, we can't ALL be under fucking NDA's or having imaginary paraplegic relatives.

I think not filling the page would be better. When I see a clean looking resume I start reading at the bottom to see if they're adding random bullshit or unrelated things, might just be a side effect of autism though.

Employers dont give a shit about your hobbies. They will ask you this in the interview if you get one. Do not put interests on your resume.

Lose the colors. Its not a fucking restaurant menu.
Highest level of education goes first, followed by most recent job, going back no more than 10 years depending on relevancy.

The 'education first' rule does not apply if you graduated more than 5 years ago.

Lose the icons next to your contact info as well. Keep it focused, simple and plain. Let your experience speak for itself. Colors, icons, interests are all distractions. The average person looks at a resume for 10 seconds before they move on to the next, assuming a human even looks at it at all.

High possibility that the icons, color and formatting gets filtered out automatically by the system and your resume never makes it anywhere.

pro tip - always send a followup thank you email after getting an interview. At least a few hours after, no more than a day later. Just thank them for the consideration and opportunity, let them know you enjoyed speaking with them and you look forward to hearing from them. You have to assume there are other interviewees, and sometimes the difference in who gets hired can come down to who sent a thank you email afterwards, assuming you are both pleasant and equally skilled.

>It’s for retail and whatever little cafe/bullshit
if they even ask for a "resume" just move on to the next job. They will all have you fill out an application anyway. Then they wont look at it or remember. What they will remember is oh this guy is white, and or didn't dress like a nigger. Lets higher him. Or it will be oh hes too white too young and we have 40 yr old mexican women that will work this job.

> 6 fig IT professional thats had 30+ jobs 10 years of which was in bar/restaurant/retail.

Your wording on the resume demonstrates that you aren't good at the corporate bullshit lingo. I'm not saying that as an insult. Maybe try inputting each line/paragraph into ChatGPT with a prompt like "rephrase this selection from a resume so that it sounds more professional". Modern problems, modern solutions

Too much white space, put education at top, get rid of skills unless they're hard skills or you can quantify them, make interests 3 bullet points with descriptions of interesting interests that gives the interviewer something to small talk about
