they already don’t collect enough taxes to cover their expenses, which is why there is so much inflationary money printing. if they reduced the amount of taxes they collected, they would just print more money to make up for it. the pain would be felt across all dollar holders rather than just the ones being taxed. inflation is so high because the government spends like college girls with daddy’s credit card, which is essentially what they are. taxing the middle class isn’t saving us from inflation. reckless money printing is the cause, and reduced money printing is the solution, regardless of what avenue you take to get there. they can’t increase taxes tho because a politicians main goal is to win re-election and no one votes for the person who raises taxes
