Got put in a project I don't want, asked help from supervisors and they basically told me to suck it up.

I think the main reason they're doing this is a lot of us are on the bench (means no project allocation), we all signed an employment bond and they're just putting random people into projects that are available. I really learned my lesson here, never sign a bond especially with service based companies, they'll put you into random projects.

I couldn't take it anymore as I'm really not interested in the project they put me in, hence the platform is hard to learn and my teammates are all international (india).

I asked my supervisor if I could be assigned to another project they basically said "no, you have to do it".

I went to HR to see options if I could resign early without paying the bond, seeing as they have no other projects available, they would let me go. They basically said, "no, you'll have to pay the bond if you try to resign. you have to do the project you're assigned with." That's it.

I don't know what else to do. Everyone is just trying to save their own ass these days and has a "not my problem" attitude. I'm basically the one that escalated it to HR because my supervisor didn't do it.

I've read on the internet us that the reason I'm being gaslighted into doing the project is that it reflects badly on the supervisors' performance review if one of their subordinates quit. There may be some truth to it.
