The loan holder wants payment but can't collect from dead people so they CALL THE PEOPLE WHO COSIGNED. They don't go calling all of the random relatives of the deceased. And I'm sure your big fuckin brain is overheating right now, so I'll tell you the reason they stopped calling is that they finally foreclosed on the house and got more money that the outstanding loan.
