America is closer to the Phoenicians than Rome. It's a mercantile democracy that vassalizes conquered foes instead of annexing them. It's built and colonized by foreigners and the native populations were irrelevant before the colonization. Both have populations of africans we-wuzzing about how supposedly important they were, and both rely heavily on their navies while lacking in land combat ability.

Not really. The United States has completely proven the effectiveness of the dollar against all other currencies. The Euro, the Pound and the Remnibi are all backed by dollars, and the United States has decided to open its vast oil and natural gas deposits to become an exporter again but now with government support (something the oil and gas industry didn't have last time). Over the next 20 years, the reliance on oil is going to wane, and it's going to be more about finding and mining deposits of cobalt, nickel and Lithium. Of all the countries in this list, only India and China have a future. And even if these other countries did have a potential at a powerful economy, China's predatory business practices would suck the life out of them until they're husks.

China is a serious economy, but it's going to run into issues it needs to solve or it will simply turn into another Japan. it needs to effectively change its whole economic model, radically alter its education system and solve a demographic crisis. Its capacity to grow at the rates it has been is definitively dead. Foreign investment is drying up. Not strictly because of their harsh foreign policy but also because their people are just getting richer and their labor isn't as cheap as it was. It's still competitive now because it has the ability to take on such productive scale, but the investment opportunities are souring, partly because of a real estate bubble, and rising wages, but also because investors aren't able to trust that the Chinese government would really protect foreign bondholders after this fiasco with Evergrande.

I don't blame any of these countries for believing they would prefer to live under a different world order. They're wrong and don't know it. The multilateral trade deals other countries have with China is not surprising, at the moment they produce a LOT of cheap exports. The problem is that China will abuse the trade balance between their poorer allies who can't afford it.

The total collapse people were anticipating certainly didn't come, but I wouldn't say Russia's economy is doing great, more that it's surviving. Russia managed to achieve autarky with their food before the war began and none of their farmland got damaged during the war (yet), so I don't think there will be a repeat of North Korea in terms of them literally starving due to sanctions, but we will probably see something like Cuba where western tech that can't be replicated will be maintained forever until sanctions are lifted, though Russia does have the means to (poorly) imitate it.

it really depends on stablecoin adoption by the usa, if the usa goes against stablecoins and for CBDCs it's fucking over for burgerland.

If the usa goes full stablecoin backed on us treasuries adoption then the usa will enter a golden age after perhaps a decade of a little chaos.

The big problem is offshore dollars, as long as the banking system operates in a closed way offshore banks can create digital dollars, this would not happen if you could let's say cash out from a hong kong usd account into usdc and then deposit it into a us bank account.

It would make offshore banking in usd really hard for those creating dollars through lending outside the usa.

It would also increase demand for us treasuries and allow us companies to diversify their liquidity into stablecoins reducing pressure on banks and it wold make us treasuries the global final collateral of any open banking system.

The big problem comes if the us boomer senators want to close the system then it goes full Argentina since CBDCs would make bankruns easier and nationalizing banks would destroy demand for us treasuries nationally inside the usa and obviously too outside the usa (hence why the fed does not want 100% liquid banks like custodia).

Not really. Britain has a functional economy, but it and France are really just two big banking arms. A big financial economy, but it doesn't produce goods to back a currency, just capital for investment (useful, but it doesn't back a currency). The Netherlands, Germany and the United States are sustaining the Euro. The Netherlands Export energy, Germans have an efficiently productive economy that produces goods and services, and the United states bails out central banks in europe with credit swaps to bolster trust in their bonds.
>Do they think their nu-robber barons are church pastors or something?
The British had an empire once. It was more stratified than Americans by a lot. There was a noble class, poor class and a slave class of foreigners. In fact The British empire is the chief problem Indians and Chinese have with the west. They still hold a grudge with all the Opium trafficking and view the "West" as an enemy, not really for anything Americans did to the chinese but because they were treated like shit by the British and hate all white people and foreigners as a result.

Besides that though, I straight up don't give a fuck what your fake and gay Google crap says. Find me products with a "made in USA" sticker on it.
The reality is that Americans don't have products that are made state side, they are made in fucking China. Why? Because China has cheap manufacturing and cheap bulk shipping thanks to secure ocean transport. So guess whats going to happen as America-Chinese relations break down and Chinese-Everyone else relations build up? China starts selling those products to everyone else and America gets left holding a bunch of shitty goods people can get elsewhere and a fat wad of paper with ink called Federal Reserve notes.
Who wants to do business with a country that inflates its currency constantly and expects everyone else to hold the bags?

yea, it's pretty simple calc.
$400k home + 20% down with a 30 year 6% fixed rate. That's ~$2,500/mo.
and that assumes they can make a 20% down, they have $80k sitting around, not likely.
and the current mortgage rates are running over 7%.
if it's $400k + 0% down 7% fixed rate, that's $3,500/mo.
well, housing should only eat 1/3rd of your income, so either scenario A, 2500*12*3=they need $90k salary, and that's still not gonna be an easy loan to acquire due to loan tightening.
scenario B, they need a base salary of ~$125k.

>Ask why Gaddafi got couped by the CIA
there's multiple reasons. aside from trying to create a gold backed currency to trade oil in, he also wanted to push for a pan african movement. that's not a compelling argument for why the value and usefulness of the dollar comes strictly down to oil
you get mad, mass reply, don't read any posts, strawman, move to goal posts, refuse to elaborate, then when you do elaborate you show that your argument is built on these assumptive leaps that neglect all kinds of information
some of which was presented in the posts you mass replied to
I really hope you find the courage to kill yourself

Although now the bully who would beat you to a pulp for not doing what he says shows up in a wheelchair. He still tries to talk tough but people are openly defying him. You're still retarded enough to think he has any power

Listen anon, you're waiting for some arbitrary piece of pepper or email saying "BRICS IS HERE! Come to your BRICS center today to trade for BRICS BUX!" but the reality is, nations are no longer afraid to move away from the dollar because the US is no longer a nation worth being afraid of.

Manufacturing powerhouse my ass. Most of our imports from the US are oil, plastic and gas too. The trade balance was even more at our advantage before the UA thingy.
The US aren't better than Russia, both are gas stations, shitholes that can't make anything of value except for raw material.
And I think Russia makes better weapons, watches and art too.

This.
If your country imports more goods than it exports it's a shithole living on borrowed times that won't survive the coming bad times.
