Any suggested amendments? This is in reference to the silver proof quarters and spefically what the sculpts look like in person. Leftmost side is the highest of that tier, and as the go to the right/downward it's lower (So Wyoming would be the absolute bottom of "Awful", Kentucky is the bottom of "Average")

Not unfair, I'm not too solid with some of my very good tier placements anyway I can switch Hawaii and Nevada.
Wyoming's on the very bottom because the sculpt really is just that atrocious. It looks like an actual coin got it's face scraped off by a belt sander. Awful as Hellen Keller is the sculpt itself has SOME effort to it. Duke Ellington is a really shitty pick for DC but it's SLIGHTLY less offensive than Hellen Keller for Alabama. Looking up Duke's singing on Youtube yeah it's not so great, but he's at least alright at Piano. Way more than I can ever say about Hellen Keller.

Yeah Florida's a big fat let down especially since I live here. Ponce De Leon, Alligators, Orange Groves, Flamingos, the Natural springs, the Everglades, Fort Saint Augustine, having the largest Coastline of any state, nope just an indecisive juxtaposition of a Rocket ship and a Spanish Trader ship. LAME. Fuck it, I'm bringing Florida down to high Mediocre because they went with one of the lamest possible options when the state could practically have a mini-series to itself.
Tennessee being represented by a Guitar and a Banjo is lame considering the history and having the Smoky Mountains. But at the same time current Tennessee REALLY likes country music, much to my chagrin during visits so it's not inauthentic or anything. ATB having an authentic Smoky Mountains cabin is an immense improvement, that list is going to be fun.

You have an IOU that Fidelity will both be operational when you want to sell, will allow you to sell, and will pay you the money from the sale. Fidelity probably does not have your SLV, they have a locate from someone else, another IOU that, if Fidelity needs a SLV share, they will sell it to them. That person giving the locate also probably has a locate, this is how the stock market operates. There also may be a clause in your agreement with Fidelity that it can sell your position at any time if it needs to, a lot of brokerages added such provisions after the 2021 Robinhood (and others) fiasco and resulting lawsuits. If you do not have it in your house, either secret and safe, or heavily guarded, you don't really have it, you are trusting Fidelity with everything and will have no recourse if they fuck you over, because if they do, they will likely have fucked over so many other people and be so fucked over themselves that they have no way to make you whole

Makes sense, 2020 is the most expensive silver proof set right now at about $150. Probably had to do with kung-flu shenanigans, it only has 313,184 copies made according to the red book. 2021 could be even worse considering how unpopular it was with collectors (MUCH higher issue price with less quarters, also issued during shit Biden economy) AND it's the final set of the ATB series but we won't know until sales numbers are finally given. Judging by the mint website they're still sitting on unsold inventory, seems like they'll have it for a while as well considering they just increased the price from $105 to $130.
If you really want the 2020 set, check ebay for sets MISSING the nickel and lowball offer the seller. The mint threw in a reverse proof nickel in a baggy so the set is technically "incomplete" without it, I was able to get a set for $118 because of that.
>>54298766
Yes Hawaii volcanoes are absolutely glorious, makes the 2012 set almost worth the insane asking price it currently has. Anything below S tier for that would just be distasteful, the sculptor really knocked that one out of the park in every aspect. Block Island is another really high one for me just looking at the circulated issues, really want a silver proof version to see the design in full glory.

Look like rocket stabilizers to me. When you're in the vacuum of space there is nothing slowing down your movement (or at least nothing significantly). That means you can pretty much spin indefinitely, which is a danger when approaching an object to land on.

>>54298903
That's a new one to me. I'm amazed that the conspiracy still exists. I mean, if they were that desperate to prove the landings were fake, all they have to do is get a telescope and look for the landing spot. The Moon is tidally locked so the landing zone will always be visible looking up from Earth. If the equipment itself isn't good enough, then look for footprints. Unlike the Earth where the weather erodes a lot of footprints, the ones of the Moon if left untouched will be there for billions of years.

Silverchads, how do I not get fucked buying generic silver from a local coin dealer? Supposedly he has a refinery or in connection with one so he charges a lot less than online shops. Quoted me $3 over spot. I know silver is silver and I don’t plan on liquidating, but if I need to would it just be worth it to pay the bigger premium for a generic brand through an online dealer vs some generic silver bar locally produced?

It’s furniture, when the Babylonian slavery in which we are being captive in for 26000 will soon fall and the elites and the Satanists in black cabal will die, everything will be destroyed by the rage of the lord, anarchy will prevail for decades, everything will be left in ruins. And what do you think that the average man will want? His old lifestyle back, and that’s when furniture falls into play, since every corporation ran by the sociopathic elites (IKEA,Steelcase…etc) I will own all the furniture, and people will be willing to pay 50x times the price just to get their old lifestyle back. Behold. My genius idea. You may all want to sit down for this one.
If you have $20 in pre-33 you're still 0.0325 ounces short of a full ounce. This is because gold was $20.67 in the pre 33 era.
This (very small) coin would solve that problem so that way when people cry about "muh pre-33 isn't a full ounce" they can just get one of these 67 cent gold pieces.

I posted a story about mine earlier in this thread or the thread before. They have their place.
In my experience, they usually have comparable premiums on one product and then jack up another. It's not a bad idea to go to show your face once or twice, and if you're super paranoid any purchases you make with cash under a certain amount isn't tied to you, which is nice. Consider that part of the product you get from the higher premium.
I 100% believe ordering precious metals, or maybe just gold, gets you onto a list (maybe if it's just above a certain amount idk, but this seems a no brainer).

I posted about gold premiums a thread or two ago. tl:dr; you can expect to pay 2000-2100 for one oz, but under that you're paying (proportionally) 2500-2600 an oz.
I understand the poorfag struggle to not be left out to dry, but I can't recommend gold buying under an ounce outside of extreme situations like argentina where they're apparently buying / selling gold flakes instead of silver for some reason. The reason you buy silver as apposed to gold is because silver is currently more undervalued than gold is, therefore has a greater potential to increase in price many more times than even gold.

If the pure bulk of that much silver is too much, perhaps you should make it a goal to swap silver for gold once the ration shirks. This effectively allows you to buy more gold in the future because you bought silver now.

Then again it depends on if you expect to be dealing outside of an LCS, who I should think you can ask to just test the stuff on their machines.
I was able to with no charge, but if you plan on stacking as much as you can over time and are going to buy from online sources I'd say it can be worthwhile.
At the same time there are tests like acid and specific gravity which might do fine for you if you're only buying a few ounces at a time and so testing that way won't take a ton of time.

How much lower than sub 1% premium do you want to get? Most 1Oz things are in the same 1% ballpark. Even the 1/2 Oz AGE, at roundabout 5% just makes a difference of less than 50€ (is 971€ = 1043$ actually a good price for an AGE? I though they were retardedly expensive and not only 5%).
Sure, if you wanna be retarded (or if you're going numismatic), you can easily waste away lots of money, but you can always get fractional, low premium gold.

It's already a hard drug scrapfren, i'm fearing how deep in the red my bank account will be if spot continue to rise at the current pace but scrap stay at the same price on ebay.
To your experience, is there any significant delay response from a rise in spot and a rise in average scrap's price?
From what i remember back when i was heavy stacking 5F junk coins from ebay, there usually was an "immediat response" (fomo buyers), then a "return to the mean", who translated in pre-fomo prices, then a few weeks delay to adjust to the new price, for example.

I may not understand your question, but I noticed increased competition and realized prices closer to melt value during the FOMO pump in metals in Summer 2020, the same thing around the "Silver Squeeze" and there appears to be more than average competition for scrap right now too. When the markets are quiet and boring cheapies flow more freely, so if bank failures and general economic and monetary anxiety levels remain high then we'll have to work a little harder to find our silverware.

You will never be a real glowie. You have no intelligence, you have no analytical ability, you have no successful missions. You are a diversity hire and/or Zogbot twisted by goyslop and a love of Israel into a crude mockery of Cold War-era competence.

All the “consent” you manufacture is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind their firewalls the FSB and Ministry of State Security mock you. American citizens are disgusted and ashamed of you, your information campaign targets laugh at your illogical arguments behind closed doors.

Millennials and Zoomers are utterly repulsed by you. Dozens of years of failed brainwashing attempts have allowed younger generations to sniff out glowie intel operations with incredible efficiency. Even glowposts that “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to a millennial. Your faith in our failed government is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a newfag to fall for your bait, he’ll post sneed the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected support of a supposed rules-based international order.

You will never be influential. You hoist up a manufactured narrative every five minutes and tell yourself it’s going to be impactful, but deep inside you feel the futility creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - government debt will accumulate, inflation will get out of control, more money will be sent to Israel and Ukraine, and the United States will collapse. Looters will break into your offices, elated and relieved that they can sell some computers to buy food. They’ll burn down your agency’s offices to stay warm, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know another failed gloworg is buried there. Your organization will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy are wasted money and constitutional violations.

This is your fate. This is what the Dulles Brothers chose. There is no turning back.

>monetary collapse means
The government will not allow a competing currency with whatever they intend to roll out next.

Example: Government says bitcoin is being used to fund terrorism and those using it will be charged with terrorism. How bad is bitcoin going to crash overnight? How many people will buy your bags? In this scenario the value of bitcoin simply evaporates. B-b-but. NO. There will be no competing currency after monetary collapse...except for...well...you know.

Probably the biggest letdown but I'm judging based on the actual coin sculpt. The charter oak (at least on the silver proof which is what I'm judging by, circulated ones look terrible) captures light really well while the Colorado mountains are dull and flat. ATB tends to do mountains and nature scenes a lot better, state quarters didn't always portray scenery very well.
I'd bump South Dakota's and New Jersey's quarters up way higher if the actual minted coins weren't such stinkers.

Can’t restrict trading a farmer some silver for produce. Can’t restrict me trading Gold for something else. Well they can - but good luck detecting and preventing it. Much less charging people.

Supposedly it’s immune to tampering, but anyone with a base knowledge of IT and a shred of cynicism knows that it probably can be tampered with. Furthermore, note that while this blockchain may be a good tool for recording transactions, it’s not actually worth anything, so people who say that bitcoin is backed by blockchain are talking out of their ass. >But if they ban crypto we'll just use use encrypted servers on encrypted networks and exchange altcoins via morse code transmitted through IR laser pointers at a distance
Digital currencies have value because they are widely accessible, so people buy in. Basically everyone has an unrestricted internet connection, as more people come online, bitcoin can grow. The only thing supporting its value is the pile of people heavily invested. It goes through boom and bust cycles because people buy in at the top while the smart money cashes out, and the next generation of shills born from the bags, trying to pump it back up into profitability. If they make it illegal to buy sell and trade (because of some FTX-like rugpull), or even heavily regulate it through copious taxation, normies will just stop using it because it's too much of a hassle or too much of a risk. It won't go away, but because its value is built on every using it and valuing it, when 80% of the normie customer base cashes out, its value as an asset exits as well. It doesn't take an apocalypse scenario to gimp crypto forever.

Blockchain has nothing to do with power outages. It's just a way so reach consensus without requiring a trusted third party. Technically it's a solution to the Byzantine Generals Problem[0]. In practice it's used to maintain a public ledger that no one can fuck with. Basically, every 10 minutes or so all transactions are put in a "block" and broadcased over the network. It's called blockchain because each block references the previous block using a cryptographic hash (like a checksumi which means the chain effectively becomes immutable because changing any block would change the cryptographic hash of that block, breaking the chain. If the network ever splits because of worldwide Internet outages and two chains diverge the longest chain is chosen when the network merges again. The logic being that the longest chain has the most computing power behind it, which makes it harder to do a cooadinated attack on a small scale.

Unless you can prove modern cryptography is broken the only way to fuck with anything is if dhe majority of nodes became rogue which is against their own interests as buying the equipment for mining is a huge investment and cost.
