Yeah the best way to trade to to sell at lower than your buy in to cut losses. If you keep holding then the price may just keep dropping to a point where you can't even be bothered to sell anymore because your tokens will be worthless.

The trick is to sell early and move onto the next token that is moving upward. If you join some pump and dump signal telegrams those are great to follow :)
