I am trying to resist running to the bank and pulling all my money out of Wells Fargo. Instead I think I will open some shorts with some of that money to turn this into a win.
Please sirs, shill me your ideas for banks to short before premarket opens.
Also looking for coins to short.

Why would you short? This nothingburger already started last week and the market barely moved. The market will pump hard once the government announces their bailout plans. The fed will also cut rates next week, there is nothing bearish about this situation at all

Do you really think a bailout will happen though? I know (((Yellen))) isn't really one to be trusted, but she did just say there will be no bailout.
Even if it does eventually happen, that should cause enough panic for the next few days for some severe dips.

Canadian banks are a pretty safe short imo. They all have a bail-in policy that robs shareholders before depositors, so share price will dump from everyone trying to avoid being emergency liquidity as long as there is fear of a bank run

Yes it will happen, (((they))) will never be held accountable for shit risk management. They will do a bailout with extra steps so that technically it's not a bailout, or they'll change the definition so it no longer qualifies as a bailout. And no one would be surprised because they do weasly shit like this all the time.

They're probably also going to pressure Powell to cut rates on top of all this because he said he would raise rates until something breaks and this would count as something breaking.

Anon, you realize bail-ins are legal in the US, right? Why would the government deal with it, when the banks can simply rob their depositors, creditors, and shareholders?
