I mean if you're genuinely interested, I'd say that true biological immortality won't be achieved within our current lfiespans, but there is a non-trivial chance that we see life extension tech that allows us to ride a wave of tech that keeps us around long enough for the good shit. There's not shortage of drugs/supplements that theoretically should increase lifespan in humans that you can buy. It's surprisingly common in the field to take the shit you've studied.

Also I've heard from some stem cell folks (not my field) that growing replacement organs in pigs or via other means will definitely be a thing in out lifetimes, which would probably give most people an extra 10-20 years.

Can't say anything about the space stuff thoughever.
