I live an hour north of San Franfaggotville. Cost of living was alright(for Cali standards) when I moved here, but since they introduced this pozzed train system nobody wanted, it resulted in droves of homeless being shipped in from the city.
On top of that since wfh became a thing plus all of the fires housing has gone way up too, but theyve been building a bunch of new apartments that cost $3.5k for a 2br.
Only positives are the weather if fairly temperate and nature isnt too far away meaning the only thing positive about this state has nothing to do with the people.
Im planning on moving by next Summer to rid myself of this place for good.

I've lived in a lot of different regions (925, Phoenix, Des Moines, Bozeman, Orlando) and California is a weird place. If you live there you will love and hate every single part of it. It is simultaneously the best and worst part of the country at the same time. It is why I hate niggers but always give them a chance before they do something to piss me off. Everyone who lives there looks like the amerimutt meme. I miss it but never want to go back ever again.

Ok well my only advice for you is don’t move here without a job. You need at least 120k a year to play without a roommate. If you make less than that I recommend getting roommates. If you work in tech, provided you don’t work for a shitty hole in the wall company you’ll at a minimum make at least 90k. Salaries are very high here, even for government tech jobs. California is quite affordable, don’t listen to retards on pol who don’t have any real marketable skills besides muh trade work. It’s super easy to make it in California regardless of your race if you actually try.

Been in San Diego for a year after airbnbing around the Rockies for the previous year. It’s pretty great if you have a decent income ($120k here). Even with that I don’t feel like it’s enough for the long term with halfway decent homes costing $1.25M. But it’s beautiful, sunny, the women are much more attractive on average and San Diego isn’t as pozzed as SF or LA. I’d like to buy a home here when I make it but it’s not gonna happen right away.

I would recommend to NOT move to California as their tax boards for the state are going to destroy what’s left of a once flourishing land of opportunity in trade for a hell hole by their constituents. Firstly, if you think /biz/ is high IQ you’re fucking retarded. High IQ is 145 on a 15SD or higher. The best way to understand /pol/ is that they’re pretty fucking retarded. But - retarded people still understand reality better than abstractionists, because what’s immediately in front of us is what’s often real, not some concept of morality or truth or justice. In that regard, /pol/ is completely correct demographic shift will only create more poverty, crime, and corrupt legislative actions in that state, moreso than any other state due to the sole consequence of intelligence slowly dwindling to a downward spiral from this shocking demographic shift. But this is nationwide, continental, a devastation of the intellectual collective within the West, and it will arise in the form of infrastructure collapse, shortages, and violence. South America is a good representation of how the United States will start to appear as Whites become a minority in the US. Europe may remain relatively stable as the U.S. is twenty years ahead of Europe in cultural adoption, but just like California is twenty years ahead of the rest of us, they are also ahead for all the negatives as well. To begin:

Reparations for slavery WILL go through at some point in California or New York, whichever political house can achieve it first. This will be STATE funded at first, not federally, and although it’s also likely a FEDERAL funded reparations program will go through sometime after late 2030, it will only take place after STATE initiatives are successful. For that reason alone you can expect immense inflation, destroying your purchasing power, and any local economies. If you think five dollars for a grape soda is ridiculous, that’s the future of California.

Second, tax residency echo arbitrage in California will be implemented sometime within the decade, though in full likely after 2030. However early versions of tax residency echo could be instituted as quickly as 2025. You’ve seen the calls for the wealthy to have a residency tax imposed on them for ten years after leaving the state, but don’t think that this isn’t actually possible to legislatively enact or defend in court - it is completely viable if they have a compounded gradual falloff scale that takes into account your net worth and income, and then deduct this in the form of an extended tax penalty when you declare a new primary residency somewhere else. Everything up front, and since corporations would have a nigh impossibility to leave, that keeps the revenue in state. All very achievable. This will NOT be limited to the upper class or corporations however, it doesn’t matter what they whinge on about, they’re just lying. Estimations on those earning a mere 150,000 would pull an additional annual 2.5 billion in even the most stringent and conservative penalizations. What they’re really giving you is a warning, not a hypothetical feel good what if to bloviate to constituents. I would go as far to say they could attempt to fuck with you via the IRS if you have residency in California within the last ten years before the code is implemented, though that’s less likely than adopting code for the new year forward.

Third, criminal responsibility is not a morality held in California anymore. You will eventually lose your first amendment right within that state, and eventually the second, via the form of internet bans and court gag orders. California has some nice legislation organizations to be the first state to have mandatory internet ID for each of its citizens and the “documented”, and we will see the first forms of a social credit system in that state first via corporate and state collaboration. Say something wrong, not even racist or sexist but of the times themselves, and you will find punishment from any nosy neighbor or zealot drone. Look into Newsoms memoirs to find out more on his views of censorship and his ties to the global push for authority over autonomy. His cabinet and party intends to introduce these oppressive orders for California eventually, even it is his successor or thereafter.

I will leave you with this: Anywhere but California. In ten years it will be a wasteland of the extreme upper class, and the rest of you all lumped up into one caste of filth and chattel meant to serve. You see both Whites and the rich fleeing right now from this state, why? Some might point to Sans South Africa’s Boers and the parallels it has here, maybe the flight of White Detroit from the Black impulsivity, or Brazil or Mexico where ethnic and caste self segregation already occurs, but I’m just going to tell you it’s an instinctual process, something by which happens organically which rises from threats of insecurity and unsafe environments. White leftists do not intermingle with minorities, even if you think or they think they do. Data on White leftists shows them almost parallel to harboring together just like White rightists tend to do, always pointing towards exclusion of biological others unconsciously. So if even the most fervent White leftists who champion minorities are fearful and scared to live among them, what then?
