I kept a phone with a cracked screen for years just to look more broke. I was super autistic and on a date (the only date I've ever been on) (at the top of the bull market) I even showed off my broken phone to her while mentioning how broke I was.
she said she's broke too and never has anything fun to do. she tried to kiss me and I pushed her away. but I had to take her home, so I did and then we never did anything again.

now I'm actually broke with a brand new iphone 14. funny how that happened. she's a stripper now
