Is there any reason why I shouldn't be heavily into Ethereum? Had made better returns in both previous cycles. Seems like clearly better ROI
Also what other second-tier alts are very likely to outperform Bitcoin? Anything that will definitely do better than 4-5x by 2025
Have btc, eth, LTC, xmr, and a bit of ada

Mostly just the fud. If you don't think Eth will be out teched by another chain then I don't see why you wouldn't do it

I’m only in ETH and LINK. ETH is the safe hedge play and LINK is criminally undervalued. Every time I think I should diversify I stop and say just buy more ETH if you want to be safe or buy more LINK if you want a shot at better returns.

Centralized and OFAC compliant Ethereum is garbage. The risk of holding it is simply not worth it.

It’s a very important project. Smart contracts don’t do much without it or something like it.
That said the market is retarded and it underperformed last cycle. Hence make sure you have enough eth to make it. Longterm Link could hit insane prices desu. At the very least get a small stack to hold longterm.

The problem with ETH and other centralized coins is Taleb's Turkey Problem.

They'll outperform until suddenly they don't, and you're left with bags of worthless cryptofiat.

better returns but if you don't zoom out you'd think it was on an uptrend
but like all alts it peaked in its first bull market at 0.15 and never managed to retake that high ever again.

ethereum is likely to stabilize higher than your average alt which will trend down to nothing over time like link or litecoin, but it's still just an alt at its core which means technology drives its valuation which is never good for the long term.
