OP, how much are you actually working day-to-day?

Assuming you don't have any big debts or a large mortgage, I'd recommend grabbing a second job for a while and working both during 9-5. Even if you double up for just a single year it will get you far ahead.

Aggressively pay off your debts or mortgage. Invest/save every extra dollar. I assume you have a decent portfolio at 31 already, so doubling up for another year or 2 should be able to set you up for a semi-retirement position by 35.

At that point, fuck the big house. You have your time.
