Cosmos will beat dot if a mutli-chain type ecosystem becomes popular. Maybe dot will pump in a year for the parachain auctions. idk, but dot is too complex and the ecosystem is behind costmos.

I agree that dot is more complex than cosmos, but do you know what you get from that complexity? The security model of cosmos will crumble under its own weight, it's just a matter of time. It's the hub-bridge security model, you're at the mercy of the weakest link in the chain. And their attempt at "shared security" is nothing more than sharing validator sets.

Many developers on Polkadot, but hardly any normies use it. It's critical for a crypto to have a large, loyal die hard following to survive and continue to moon beyond a billion mkt cap (ie: Shib)

Also, don't forget about the old saying "priced in". You think you're early to the 1 bil + projects but you're actually quite late. The whale bots already have you beat from the start, and will pump and dump at will according to the news cycle, which in turn triggers the bots to buy/sell.

Shib's market cap is inflated by the devs holding like 99% of the supply, yet dot is already bigger than shib. Dot is very highly priced. Although I guess there could be some upside if it became a cardano-level cult. And usage wise, not many people actual use dot, much more people use avax and cosmos, which are priced lower. The dot ecosystem is very complicated and hard to use.
