ai will be a powerful lever. ai will make millions of people competent programmers overnight, and will allow billions of people to use search engines who are now too illiterate to do so. big potential as a research assistant as well. basically everyone now has access to what used to be millions of dollars worth of intellectual manpower that never gets tired and works 1000x faster. you can get expert level briefs on any topic. saying you don't see the benefit of AI is really saying you don't see the benefit of intelligence period, which says more about you than AI.

Google are retarded if you explore their product portfolio more (they have apps I can guarantee no one will even know existed). For instance, they didn't think a useful feature to add to the phone's voice assistant would be the ability to make it ring so you can find it, despite it being an incredibly common problem. Among other things, e.g. Google drive is basically useless for uploading multiple photos via a phone, because it'll go into a perpetual sync loop cycle. Other people have even told them about this year's ago and they still ain't fixed the fucker.
