To be honest, I'm not near smart enough to know the direction the market it going to take. The fact is that Powell, like I said, he's been so scared to say anything explicitly negative that I still expect baby gloves. But I'm not putting money down, that's my disclaimer. I've been making profits from identifying companies that are massively overreacting to news (which is happening a lot) and buying options on the inevitable swing back. But when I try to make broad-market TQQQ/SQQQ plays, I lose literally 50% of the time, i.e. can't predict it.

Math. You can value NVDA however you want. You can treat your stocks like a shiny rock for all I care, that's worked out pretty well for GME investors. But its earnings are at a cyclical peak, crypto PoW is dead, the covid rush to rebuild PCs is dead, there simply aren't enough people that care anymore to buy a $2k graphics card, and no "data center AI" hype is going to change that.
As the cycle turns, and it already has - as all the recent industry reports show, NVDA is doomed to the same fate. On the bright side, at least it's not a ponzi like most tech trash.

Retard pump on Monday from le meme AI news. Bought a put dated for March 1st on day-of, knew it was a slam-dunk for that POS to go down. Became profitable nearly immediately, sold today for about 50% profit.

Bought puts Wednesday last week, each with a March 10th expiration. I want enough horizon to get out of the position before decay cucks me, but short enough to be exciting. So I like a little over a month. Anyway, both of these companies are well-known pieces of shit which pumped on frankly silly news, so I expected a pullback for sure. Thursday was a little scary for HOG because it pumped even more - my puts were down like 20% - but CVNA started declining straight away. I held onto each of them though, because I was confident that HOG wouldn't last. Come on, it's fucking Harley Davidson. Anyway, this turned out to be correct because today I'm finally in the green with each, as CVNA continued dumping hard, and HOG continued bleeding out slow (which is good enough) Shooting for like 10%-20% profit on each, which I think can happen, but closing green at all makes me happy enough. I'm not as good with abandoning lost positions (See that I held hog at -20%) but that's why I always look for slam-dunks where a company has such shit fundamentals that I can't be wrong, and a long enough horizon for the market to agree with me. In a bull market, you can do the reverse by buying calls on a stock that shit itself for the inevitable swing back up.
