If you believe in BTC and believe in its worth. How come you aint invested in actual BTC farms? Not those 6x 3090 Gpus you have hooked up in some russian appartment. Im talking about arches of land. I have this stock. IF BTC Goes up like 1% . It goes up 10 %. same if it dumps tho.

I have 69% of my port in RIOT atm. They just bought new ground for a new farm. I actually believe this is the year if btc doesn't shit the bed.

BTC mining is a very competitive industry, companies go bust because of electricity cost, ASIC cost, land cost etc all the time. Not saying to not do it, but it's not as easy as just buying and holding BTC itself.

not financial advice ofc but if I'd have to narrow 2 BITF and CLSK have the lowest cost per bitcoin an. With that said I am up 56% on CLSK and down 31% on BITF, which is by far my heaviest position that I have been DCAing for a year now. They both rely on cheap energy and BITF's balance sheet will soon be clear of debt so at $1.21 its a steal in my book and a potential x20 after the halving

Im too low IQ to setup a bitcoin farm at home, even if id only be making very little, id do it for the novelty and just run it for life.

The problem is I dont know how to do it.

I actually want to do it, so how can I do it?

I dont care if im making $0/day I just want to experience doing it. Seeing sats trickle into my wallet would be interesting.

cryptominers are indeed a leveraged play on BTC.

Yeah that is because those companies are heavily in debt to buy all their mining equipment. Id make sure you look at what kind of debt they have before you buy, they may go bankrupt under a certain BTC price point

you need to buy an asic to mine btc
you can run a btc node off your desktop, which helps the network - but doesn't make you money. but neither will mining on the small scale.

I have 5 miners, which, due to my electricity plan essentially run for free ($100 off bill when it’s over x amount of kw) it covers the cost of running the miners and the delivery fee from the power company

how many sats you made with those 5 rigs and over what time period?

Sorry I didnt specify. I mine ethereum classic, almost 3 per month. Fired them up on New Year’s Day, since then ETC is up something like 40%. So my profits are up about 40%. The DAG size will be too big to mine anymore in roughly may of 2024, if I run my miners constantly until then I should end up with about 40 ETC right in the middle of the next bull run. Yea, I know ETC is a ghost chain, however it is currently the only POW coin with smart contracts, which I personally believe has potential value. And in the last bull run it went from $10 to $180 in a span of a few weeks. Just my personal thesis.

Yup that’s exactly in my range. I figure 4k minimum, 40k maximum in an absolutely retard fueled bullrun, or if ethereum classic actually has some meaningful development
