>open amazon/ebay, items is recommended by algorithm

All of our consumption is based off of algorithm recommendation, it is not suprised that in the future we would get shaped by algorithm and AI

Yes and it's been happening since the 90's. A more primitive form of It via consumerism has been happening since the 1920's.

You ever notice how products try to link themselves to love, prowess, status, or other base needs?

It used to be the case that all an advertisement did was talk about the benefits of a product. Then it became a matter of having the product. Now products claim to provide experiences, which are supposedly the currency of life.

Where once human fulfillment was equated with what one was, it degraded into what one had. It has since further degraded into the appearance of having.

In other words, the satisfaction associated with a product is the appearance of the experience, (e.g., posting how you went parachuting on your Instagram).

Each person now has an individual alorithm geared towards their psychological profile to marketmtyem products. This is seen as a matter of empowerment of the individual, "go your own way". These choices the consumer might make are then corralled into a larger trend that makes the individual easier to handle.

This is why there are non-americans that care about U.S politics so much but don't live there. It's a by product of multi billion dollar propaganda campaigns that they got sucked into.

Look up the novel feed if you want a good break down of how shit society has already been for two decades.

All that shit already happened by prozxy, if it wasn't spotify youtube and netflix it was radio, tv and the movies
If you are being feed by the electronic jew now you'd also would been feed gargabe by cable TV two decades ago

Not saying it's good or bad it just what it is, not everyone has to have a deep interest on TV or music and outside of being predatory it's not much different than before. If you had any interest in say music, you'd would search for more than simply listening to the spotify top 100 playlist

"Most of us would have rather money than tangible wealth. And a great occasion is somehow spoiled for us unless photographed. And to read about it the next day in the newspaper is oddly more fun for us than the original event. This is a disaster, for as a result of confusing the real world of nature with mere signs, such as bank balances and contracts, we are destroying nature."

HOLY SHIT THEN ALAN WATTS IS RIGHT!

It goes deeper than that anon. You know how cavemen would draw cave paintings, like say you see a turtle and draw a cave paintings of it? Well that's called mimesis. Guess what? Every thing in the human world is mediated through commercials and advertiserments, which then shape our world. In other words, there is an anti-mimesis through commercials and advertisements that shapes our society.

Millennials aren't the reason for the hipsters and onions neckbeards in uber eats commercials and tech ads. It's the other way round. Society is constructed from the top down.

>And WHY do they only give a shit about domestic policy which doesn't fucking affect them?
Because that shit DOES affect us. We are so connected through social media that every psy op conducted on Americans inevitably seeps through to our youth through Instagram and Tiktok. It's the reason we get BLM protests even when there are little to no black people here and our history with them is way different than what it is in the US. Your culture war is echoing through every white, western country.
