Lol, 31 tanks... well, that's 124 NATO contractors dead.

Yes. You can bet a dozen of them are gonna be sold on the black market, that's the only financial implication i can think.

>might sending tanking keep escalating the situation?

nope, it's just a move to avoid the total collapse of ukranian front on the certain ruski spring offensive.

>what makes biden think putin won't start escalating things?

at worst he's gonna drop some nukes on kiev. and nope, nobody will gonna start ww3 out of it because better the nukes on some slav farmer than on their heads.

Before the United States officially entered World War II, they provided aid to the Allied powers through a policy known as "Lend-Lease." Under this program, the United States provided military equipment, food, and other supplies to countries fighting against the Axis powers, including the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and China. This aid was seen as a way for the United States to support the war effort without officially entering the conflict. Additionally, the United States also provided economic assistance to these countries through loans and other financial measures.

I doubt they'd risk something so obvious as an Abrams. All the small arms and portable equipment though? That'd be disappearing left and right. The money too. It's already been admitted they can't track where it all goes.

It literally costs less financing this war then it did financing the failed state of Afghanistan, at least our money is being put to better use killing Russians than wasted in a mudhole. Now that gas and oil prices stabilised nothing big should happen

Nothingburger.
>how in God's green earth are the ukies suppose to support these monstrous fuel hoggers?
>they need to train the tank crews if they want these things to make a difference
>again, how the fuck are they suppose to support these logistical welfare kweens?

But if this accelerates our sleepwalk into WW3 then its all good to me. Nothing makes me happier than seeing mutts, Vatniks and chinks vaporize each others

The issue is that they're NATO personnel. They don't let Joe from Blackwater, Contractor, do Abrams maintenance.
>>53470948
You are misunderstanding the dynamics. Yes, sending more resources into a battle, per definition, escalates is, but your hidden assumption is that Putin behaves like someone in a bar fight behaves, i.e. that he's just upset, and if we all come down and buy each other a beer, it'll all be good again. He has an actual plan that he wants to fulfill, he's not just upset (even if he is upset in addition to it).
Part of his goal is to annex Ukraine, so you either let that happen or don't.
Rationally, since he wants to overcome Ukraine militarily, he does not want the country to receive outside help. He cannot directly stop it, but he can try to dissuade others from sending that help. And how would he do that? He would use threats.
And would you know it, we find that our observations are consistent with this model: on 2022-02-21, he threatened "retribution unlike anything you have ever seen" (slightly paraphrased) to anyone who "interferes". Before that, he said "you won't even have time to invoke your Article 5, because it will be over in a flash" (a clear and obvious attempt to evoke the image of a nuclear blast). And after 2022-02-24, Lavrov has been making his comments about this or that form of military aid "crossing the red line".
And, more directly, we have seen the evidence on 4chan, namely that the shills they hire are too stupid to copy-paste a single line from their script and just pasted the whole script, composed of 10-20 one-liners, a few times. In it, naturally, was the usual threat about "NATO having gone too far in seizing territory and now trying to claw away the territory of a power with nuclear weapons".
It is deception, and it's rational: if you don't have the strength, at least bluff.
The problem is that YOU believe it, and think that "oh, these people, they're crazy, better just give in oh God what might they do".

Ya, I know. But, they'll just claim they are PMC just in case they get blown away. That way they can claim no NATO troops have been killed. Just like when Russia bombed that Reddit "volunteer" camp and killed a few hundred people.

These people trust Putin’s rationality, goodness and restraint to stick to conventional warfare at a level that I simply don’t grasp.

Joe Biden is at the end of his life. My children are at the beginning of theirs. And I don’t want them on the same planet.

You have an error in your calculus.
>goodness
You think that it's an active act of mercy on his behalf that he doesn't blow everyone else up (which is precisely what Putin wants you to think). Firing nukes is not a one-way street; the US has nukes too. If a nuclear attack is launched, that'll lead at least to in-kind retaliation, and, if the situation escalates, to the annihilation of Russia and to the death of Putin. Therefore (let's just jump forward to the strategic nuclear exchange scenario here) him firing nukes is equivalent to him pressing a button labeled "destroy Russia and kill myself". So you're asking why he doesn't destroy Russia and kill himself. And we can see that that's not really a very effective way to to win any war.

Russia's modernized army isn't a bunch of goat fucking villagers with AKs, they can easily observe these tanks via satellites and are able to make precise devastating long distance attacks. They will probably prioritize the destruction of the new american and german tanks, just to send a message.

We’ve had a whole year of open war showing just how decrepit and laughably self destructing the Russian military is, I honestly doubt their nuke stockpile has even a fraction of available warheads ready to launch than they once did. They steal literally everything thats not bolted down from both their own bases and elsewhere, some captain even stole entire ship propellers a few years ago, and thats not even mentioning things like distributing medical supplies (if the troops are lucky to get them) that are just moldy shit from the Soviet days. When the war started they were right at Kiev and digging trenches all throughout the radioactive soil of Chernobyl, now they’re fighting tooth and nail for territory that was already de facto under their control since 2014. Ukraine is still a clown pit too, but if they could give Russia such a bloody nose even before all the gibs started pouring in, and completely halt their offensives with whats basically NATO hand me downs, all on a country they fucking border, then its clear that the Russia stronk meme was exactly that. If they were then they’d have actually won by now without losing top brass every single week and there wouldn’t be entire vatnik brigades coping online.
