Well tech stocks have def. already priced in a recession, what's weird about this one bear market is that you get soaring yields even as stocks go down, only 2 other years this happened. I think the market is misunderstanding the Fed. The Fed wants to get rates to 5% and they're using high inflation as the excuse to do it. They purposely let inflation run hot to give themselves this leeway. They tried this starting in 2016 but they couldn't get above 2.5% FFR before the economy started to crack. But now in 2023 they can push the economy into a deep recession and keep raising rates because they have high inflation as their scapegoat.
