Also taking a look at the source, those were the same faggots telling you to invest in nat gas this summer at $10 because the "great winter" will make it double in price, and we ended up at $3 now.
Basically, everything shilled end up being the exact opposite on the markets via whales banking on permanent contrarianism to kills all the leverage-fags.
If something is "100% sure to go this way because le macro", it ALWAYS end up being the opposite happening. Simply because the financial world don't have to bother with reality anymore, it's far too deconnected to have any impact. Only giga-whales matter nowaday. And giga-whales knows all about how and when the little fishes are leveraged.

Superficially look out for NP, EP, EPNS, “plated”, “German silver”. These will all be plated junk and you should avoid. (It means nickel plated, electro plated or a combo of the two.)

They do hallmark junk but it’s to confuse you. So it has a load of hallmarks that look impressive but are just makers marks etc. if you are a Brit, you need to look for the lion symbol and learn a few of the places like London, Birmingham, Essex etc. typically the EP or EPNS is in a small shield shape at the top of the spoon handle followed by a bunch of other stuff like numbers and letters that by that point are meaningless because it’s not silver.

I have a friend who works at a booze store and she and her coworkers have seen sketchy, addicts and alcoholic types coming in with old silver coinage or collector sets such as proofs not intended for circulation they either had, or stole(they assume)and pay with it for cheap booze. It's not common, but common enough where it happens once every 3 or 4 months. I'm assuming addicts and dumb thieves is the main reason why these kinda coins are still in circulation or get into circulation

During the last Obama recession. I schooled the night clerk at a gas staition near my house about silver.
He started saving all the pre 64 coinage for me. He had a guy come in and spend 15 silver eagles to buy gas at face value. Retards are out there and way the economy is going a lot of silver will enter circulation in the near future.

Happened to me once. Bought a bunch of constitutional silver on ebay with a rendez-vous delivery since the seller was close to my position. I was expecting an old fart as always. But i end up dealing with a 20yo meth head wigger who clearly had zero fucking clue of what he was doing. When i asked him where did they come from he couldn't give me an answer, so i knew it was from a burglary. I kept insisting on how he got those and he offered to give me 5 silver quarters for free if i stopped asking questions lol. I obliged and the deal went smoothly, paid like half spot price for 20 or so coins once "tip" included.

Is the goal to have gold in a properly usable way ? Def more practical than scraping grams out of your gold coins with a file and weighing them at the store.
But is the gold reusable ?

here's my old pasta:

essentially microfilm gold between plastic. designed to be used as voluntary currency instead of fiat. technologically, the smallest and most affordable fractional gold. entry-level and very normie-friendly
while the smallest denom of 1/1000oz goes for close to $4, they can be used to purchase ~$4 worth of goods/services. so the premium you'd be buying still holds when you "sell"
they're also super kino

Idk, tbf i think i made quite a sick deal since i never expected it to sell for this cheap (650gr of .950 silverware). Scrap anon would get a heart attack knowing i paid almost spot for silverware, but this is pre-revolutionary (circa 1750 for this set), and here it's a complete set (x4 fork + x4 spoon, identical) which is very, very rare.

Beside one fork, they are in a good condition too, but very dirty, this is probably why it sold for so cheap. I think i'll easily sell those for $700 once cleaned up.

I personally wasn't interested in paying more than 60 (I take cheapies seriously) but the sale price was fair. Aeternitas is a more uncommon goddess reverse than Felicitas and the portrait and obverse centering was very nice, both factors probably contributed to the 100+ price. I was 3rd in line but dude #1 was ready with boxes and beelined to the china cabinet full of .950 silver, I assume he scoped it out and did all his calculations the first day because he was loading up without pause. Looked like he got about 5kg of silver for around $1800, more than I was prepared to spend but I would have liked the opportunity to glean the cheapest $300 worth of silver items. Went and got 6.5ozt of cheapies for about 4 bucks elsewhere in town which soothed my butthurt a bit. Can't win 'em all but another sale with sterling is happening in a few weeks so I'll try to beat that boomer fag in line next time.

fug bro, proficiency with ancients isn't something that can be spoonfed to anyone, especially retards. You can try looking for international sellers (need to select "worldwide") and then cross reference the seller IDs with the fake-sellers lists to avoid the egregious scammers, but actually knowing and being able to identify coins at sight requires time and autism, it's a very complicated part of the numismatic world.

Here fren:

http://augustuscoins.com/ed/fakesellers.html

Very useful pictorial database of fake coins:
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/fakes/

I don't really have any literature to recommend, just lurk around autistic ancient coin forums and study pictures and offerings of reputable dealers, study pics of fakes and forgery methods so you can recognize the tells (some fakes are very good so don't get cocky once you can spot the super obvious cast and pressed fakes). If you're just trying to get a few examples and forget about it then it's not worth the time and you should just pay the goytax from the big name dealers, but if you see yourself collecting ancients for years then getting gud and being able to swoop down on heirs selling grandpappy's collection on eBay cheap will be worth the effort.

Happy to help bud. Ancients are a minefield but way more interesting than modern coins. Zoomers coom themselves over their sovlless mass-produced machine-made stuff but I consider it the most boring and low-IQ facet of numisfagging, there is a whole universe of ancient coins containing 10s of thousands of different issues and probably millions of different die pairings, it's enough to keep anyone sufficiently autistic engrossed for lifetimes.

Nice, up around that size the sterling gets pretty impressive, I like keeping the appealing pieces but probably should pare down the collection and refine some of it. Good luck with the auctions and future sales, the competition can't get everything.

And 60oz of coins, but coins are embarrassing and retarded.

They were by best investment of 2022, kek. As in, all my shitcoins ofc got rekt.

But this year already gold is lagging and will ofc massively underperform shitcoins, as it is its nature to do. Time to flip really but there's something aesthetic about having physical gold.

Because she is so happy that for the first time in her life society finally sees gold as it's true identity - money. She is a stacker who believes in goldbacks as currency, and she's finally experiencing a regular transaction where the clerk is voluntarily asking her "fiat or goldbacks" as if she would ask "cash or credit" or "paper or plastic." She is crying tears of joy.

you dumbfucks still dont realize that gold and silver can be dug out of the ground? they do this on an industrial level, if price goes up the effort of digging goes up aswell, even old mines that havent been economically to further explore will be reactivated, its a built in price suppression.
gold and silver will never explode in value like some stocks or cryptos.
tldr: no, you will never buy a house with 100oz of silver.

Thank you for these links! I just recently got into ancients when I picked up picrel at Treasure Island in Sunnyvale. You ever been there? The guy who runs the shop was really kind and seemed like he knew a bunch. Also, what are your thoughts on MA-Shops? Is that a safe place for a noob like me to comfortably pay the goy tax and get legit things? I recently picked up a double maiorina of Julian the Apostate from there and it shipped from a legit looking coin shop in Paris.

>So is silver and gold a good decision?
It's legit the only one i can think of for mid/long term investment. And believe me, i thought very hard about it before throwing my entire net worth into it.

This is a unique play in the sense that both macro outcomes (either shrinking or growth of the economy) favor precious metals. If economies collapse under the weight of debt, it will be used as a store of value. If the economy expand, it will be needed by industries and in all kind of new techs sectors.

And it's the only liquid assets with truly zero counterparty risk and no traceability. This alone is incredibly valuable in a world of all-powerful centralized governments, derivatives and ultra-collateralized ponzis where everything digital can disappear from your accounts in a milli-second for the most retarded reasons.

Ask the lebaneses how they felt last year when all their bank accounts ended up being frozen with no warnings when their central bank collapsed. No way i let this happen to myself or my family.

EU government is discussing a new law which will prohobit all kind of pesticides in "sensible" regions. By definition 2/3 of the region where I'm from are affected. This will make a lot of farmers unable to grow their plants. This is part of the agenda 2030 and one should take this serious, right? Also this will put more pressure on the food supply after Ukraine and Russia, which produce together round about 20% of the world grain supply are out of business with the EU. Comfy time is over. Very sad.
Whats your opinion? What will it do to the economy and the value of pms?

Also organic farming needs things classified as pesticides. Baking soda, copper and sulfur are all pesticides. This affects the food supply and normal people will welcome it because "pesticides" are bad in public opinion. (which they are but it is nearly impossible to grow food in industrial agriculture without them)

What you describe is a feature, not a bug. When PMs are remonetized - as they will be soon - the money supply then has a built-in mechanism for adjusting quantity to demand, hence a damper on fluctuations in value. Demand goes up, production increases. Demand goes down, production slows down and miners hold onto stock until demand increases again. It's clear that God meant for gold and silver to be money and smashed neutron stars together to make it for us.

Never been west of Colorado and I haven't gotten many ancients IRL, they aren't typical inventory at coin shops. MA-shops is legit, also bookmark https://www.vcoins.com/ which is very seriously policed, I've never seen any fakes there either. Both places include the goytax but you can still get fair deals, I've bought a few things off each platform myself even though I prefer sniffing out cheapies on eBay. Your didrachm is nice btw, it oozes authenticity and sovl. I really don't mind circulated ancients because honest wear is pretty hard for forgers to duplicate. I'm not rich and can't afford the top tier stuff anyway so it's good that I like stuff I can fondle without guilt or anxiety.
