I made one yeah. Profit aint much and it's a lot of work, but the benefits:
- skillset to building sonething proper way quicker
- big project sticking out on portfolio if you want a job in the field
- no upkeep cost so basically passive income
- you can always update it

Most 1 man indie devs don't actually succeed financially on a project till they've released their third game. Luckily most 1 man indie devs give up before they bother making their first game, which is why the success rate of indie devs is so high compared to other industries (20% as an indie dev to make up your living expenses for the year from game sales, compared to musicians, which is 0.04%)

If you're gonna indie dev, expect your first game to bomb. And your second game. If you've learned enough from the first 2, you may make some money on your third game.

Theres a kid here who asks for $5/week to take peoples trash bit and put it on the road for trash day, every week when the trash man comes, and then put it back in it's spot from before. $5/week to never worry about forgetting to put it out for trash day, which a lot of people do, is a great deal because 5 bucks seems irrelevant. I started selling shirts on Redbubble back in 2020 (didn't sold anything until late 2020/early 2021) but I found that out on my own, didn't watch a youtube video or look for advice on forums, just thought it'd be cool to make my own graphic shirts
The sad thing about redbubble is that I haven't made more than 180 usd in a month, I sometimes get more than 60 or 80 bucks and sometimes 100 bucks but never got 200 bucks in a month, so I kinda want to expand and maybe do teespring and see how that goes
