I keep hearing that we are heading into the greatest financial collapse and economic depression in history /biz/. I have about 20k in my 401k and I'm thinking about pulling it all out and buying goods and physical assets. Am I retarded? Please I don't know who to listen to.

>economic depression
Hyperinflation.

>financial collapse
Global civilizational collapse. And not due to economical reasons or war, but due to a solar flare which messes up Earth's entire magnetic field and knocks out all electricity and fries all hardware -- that's not a question of if, only when; the Sun doesn't know about or care about humanity's use of and dependency on electricity, and if the flare in 1859 (which was a very weak flare; they can be tens of thousands of times stronger) hit Earth today it would have massively devastating consequences; the only reason it didn't have back then was because there was barely any dependency on electricity at all.

>greatest financial collapse and economic depression in history

People are always saying this. In fact, everyone over the age of 20 on this site has lived through 3 'once in a lifetime' economic collapses. It is all overblown.

Hold your assets, restrict your expenses to accumulate cash and buy more of whatever asset class you are interested in, dollar cost averaging in.

I can't afford to replace my money if I lose it. I had a good, well paying (relative to where I live) and I build it all while working there. I lost that job in 2020 to ronachan and I've been working a McJob barely scraping by ever since if I lose it, it better be the end of society because there isn't anyway I'm going to recover.

Hardly. Theres a culture war for sure but there's way too much space between the far right and the far left for any civil war to happen. The amount of people who actually give a shit is much lower than represented too. Cities will eat themselves while more rural people all take back up farming and form tight knit communities

Those are ideal conditions for it. Coupled with recession and financial misery you'd need a mere spark to light the fire.

Hardly. Civil war requires the people who hate each other to be in close enough quarters and competing for resources. There might be intercity conflicts where all the boston libs and the boston trump patriots battle eachcother gayly but it will never be a civil war. Especially in a post apocalyptic scenario people would be more concerned with where to get food than with if a tranny is really a girl or not

The fed pumped and dumped the entire US. At the moment the money supply is shrinking.
In 1866 the european bankers pribed the court to decrease the supply of the silverbacked currency and to implement their new gold backed central banking currency. See picrel.
If you take liquidity out of an economy it is worse than inflation for the common people.
But I really don't know what it is going to happen this time. Nobody except the few that use currencies as a tool of power know for sure what is going to happen. But imo the fastest way to make people own nothing and be happy is to shrink the money supply to 1886 levels.

FEDS PUMPED AND DUMPED US LIKE A BAD STOCK, NOW THE MONEY'S DISAPPEARING, NO ONE'S GOT ANYTHING LEFT. 1866 ALL OVER AGAIN WITH THOSE BANKER BASTARDS BRIBING COURTS TO SCREW THE PEOPLE OVER. THATS WHAT THEY DO, THEY TAKE LIQUIDITY OUT OF THE ECONOMY, MAKES IT WORSE THAN INFLATION. NOBODY KNOWS WHATS GONNA HAPPEN, BUT ITS GONNA HURT US, MARK MY WORDS. THEY'RE GONNA SHRINK THE MONEY SUPPLY DOWN TO 1886 LEVELS, THEY WANT US TO OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY, THEY'RE CRAZY

From here on out there will only be crisis after crisis after crisis till the day you die. You think it's bad? Well it's only getting even worse. And worse. And then it will ACTUALLY get even worse. Just more pain forever. We are so far from the bottom it isn't even funny. This was nothing compared to where we're going. There is no bottom. It's just getting started. Where will the new money magically come from huh? It's so over. No happy thoughts never ever. Crisis and pain forever. Be afraid. It's over. It's dead. Buckle up.

OP I recommend you stop for a moment and think through what a 401k actually is. Take a week off and use the time to research how money works. Not trade. Research and meditate. Who receives your $20k? What do they do with it? Which stocks are you buying? What causes the price of those stocks to go up or down? When it goes up, is it because the business is using the $20k efficiently to expand by improving operations? Or because everyone and their grandmother is bidding up the price just for the sake of holding something that tends to go up compared to cash? Why does cash lose purchasing power over time in the first place? When the stock price goes down, is that because the business made poor decisions, or is it because the fed raised interest rates and everyone is selling to pay off their debts? Ask those questions, find answers that you find satisfying, then go through the same process with Bitcoin. The next time someone tells you to max out your 401k, you'll notice that they don't have any logical reason for it. This is how you get an edge over everyone else in the market.

> US is no longer a *white* country, Non hispanic whites barely make up 57% of population, and if we discount the 60+ boomers with one leg in the grave, that count comes down to around 52%, this number will go below 50% within half a decade or so. Actually solar flares are what causes EQ's, Volcanic equations, changes in weather etc etc.

I figured this out in 2013 through mapping flares and earthquakes and the exact time EQ's would hit or volcanic equations would occur was the exact same time the flares passed through earth.
