Gather around Jeets, Jews, and whoever would like to listen in. Long before you knew Leemon Baird as the creator of Hbar and Hedera I was attending Dr. Leemon Baird’s Bible studies on Saturdays. My favorite study was his study on James 3 and controlling the tongue. Hear me out, I have a bad habit of saying fuck, so Dr. Leemon asked if he could personally come to my home so that we could do a study together. Of course I agree, but this is where it gets weird. He shows up at my house with a briefcase and is smiling maniacally. We sit in the couch and after hydrating from PT I need to go to the bathroom and as I’m peeing I feel a hand come across my shoulder. It turns me around and pushes me onto the toilet. I see him open the briefcase and in it there is pictures of other airman with their heads scabbed and shaved. All of a sudden I hear, “ would you like a haircut?” Before I could answer I feel a blade come across my head and I can feel my flesh tearing. He proceeds to quote scripture about men with filthy mouths. At this point I’m bleeding and after he’s done he socks me in the mouth. I’m laying on the floor undies at my knees semi-unconscious and the next thing I remember is him taking a camera out of the briefcase and then foot stomping me in the face. I wake up with dried blood on the toilet and a shaved head. Needless to say I never went to Bible study again.
