53091750 No.53091750 [Reply] [Original]

Chainlink is currently in 2019 in the market cycle, the year when Link climbed from 25 cents up to $5 (20x). That is the equivelant of our climb from $5 up to $100 coming this year. This happens because all the smart money choose projects with the most powerful fundamentals, leading to an upward cascade. So Link will at least climb to ATH in the next few months ($50), by then the FOMO will kick in. Happens every single market cycle like clockwork.

Turn on the whitelists sergeynazarov

$LINK

YOU DESERVE NO MEMES

>> No.53093140

Description
Chainlink DeFI whitelists seem to not be working properly as they are still not being used to monetize data feeds now that initial bootstrapping of most feeds is over.

Basic Information
Continuing to subsidize node operators gas costs instead of making developers choose between paying their fair share, joining Chainlink BUILD or finding someone else that provides lively price feeds to Ethereum Layer1 seems negligent. Chainlink has already established first mover advantage and bootstrapped an entire ecosystem. Not actively moving to monetize that infrastructure is leading to financial problems for node operators and the community at large. As token price relates to ecosystem security not taking every opportunity to increase revenue for node operators seems negligent. If the whitelist exists to monetize data feeds, well, then after over 3 and half years of loss leader market capture, it seems like its time to shit or get off the pot.

LINK's price action was not out of the ordinary considering that it pretty much was released at the start of the bear market. There are lots of tokens that were released around the same time that also climbed up through 2019-2020. But just because this initially happens (as with most tokens), doesn't make them "bear market tokens" from then on, with a sample size of 1. Chainlink is no exception.

link really had a good trend from the june capitulation and it looked like we were being the bear market coin again
especially in november there were some really hopeful moments
but then ftx died at about literally the worst possible moment for link, even then there was another attempt and then the hacked coins killed it again, for once more doing max damage to the price action
right now it doesnt look good the trend of higher highs and higher lows is broken to the downside and we are solidly below the longterm bearish trend against btc

what is especially worrying here is that in tradfi markets there still is a shock coming with the recession this year
prior to the ftx collapse i thought we might make it through that intact in crypto and inflict max pain on most traders but right now i am not so sure
if we hit a recession capitulation and btc goes down 50% in correlation and this btclink chart breaks down again i hope you are mentally prepared to hodl through some real pain
i'll wait until powell really pivots before committing more fiat into crypto, at least i'll be hedged

If chainlink, smart contracts and decentralized oracles are so revolutionary why is that literally the only people talking about this are two isolated communities on reddit and 4chan? Nobody cares.

There's literally no marketing whatsoever, no one will buy this. If you visit their website it looks like it was specifically designed to be anti-normal people. For an asset to pump it needs buying volume. The volume stayed over 7million$ for almost 2 month (and what the hell was that fake volume anyways), and it's now one of the lowest volume on Binance.

I know you deluded bagholders will respond "muh parternships, the companies will buy it", but multibillion companies will never register to Binance to buy a random token. Sergei has 650 million tokens and he's ready to give them. So who will actually buy it? No one.

4.The only reason why it even reached 1 dolllar is because of the general bull trend. It then collapsed to 0.30 € and it's been vegetating between 0.30 and 0.60 for FIVE MONTHS. Yet, you people keep repeating "mainnet" "soon" "swift"

5.No one has seen Sergei in 6 months. Literally the last time he showed any signs of being alive was months ago. No twitter, no slack, reddit, video interview absolutely nothing. Yet you're here calling him Sergei of Nazareth and speculating that he is Satoshi Nakamoto.

6.The funniest thing is that when mainnet will be out, nothing will happen - link will probably be down 9%. You delusional group of people will find another roadmap point and wait for it and be disappointed again.

7.The fact that you think all these companies like Swift, Visa, AXA are secretly in partnership with Chainlink ahahah you bunch of gullible individuals.

Canned buzzwords you've been using for almost a year now:
-XYZ event will pump link

-whales are done accumulating, we will moon now

-mainnet will probably come out in September (just lol)

Chainlink is literally a cult at this point. Downvote me all you want and keep waiting for "singularity".

My estimation for real staking will be around 2024. Bullruns are hard to predict but in the future I predict that another crypto bullrun will be kickstarted entirely by people FOMOing into chainlink rather than the next BTC halving. agree on that, the protocol has proven everything in the meantime so that will happen
what some of us are concerned about is what happens in the next 2.5 years as that is very important to us personally but doesnt matter to the chainlink protocol
sergey is already beyond made it, we arent and dont feel like wagie in the cagie for another 7 years
anyways something did change, the original ogs were basing the estimates of completion on a single centralised oracle network
chainlink has since switched to a DON setup which is a huge improvement but created this delay and uncertainty in estimates of time till completion
thats why sergey made the ill fortuned prediction at start of year 2022, maybe they are too pessimistic now i dont know we will have to see what the first bit of the year gives

but of course any critical note to the project is immediately shouted down as fud

Understand that an investment into chainlink means that you're committed for the long-haul. Sergey has his own timeframe encompassing the next two decades as he mentioned to Eric Schmidt in the fireside chat that have absolutely nothing to do with the average investor so even if the next 2.5 years aren't so good we should be prepared for that. There is no harm in developing your skillset and improving yourself as a person before we wait for the inevitable. There is no better place I can think of in crypto to put your money into outside of chainlink when you realise the scope of what they're trying to achieve compared to the rest of the space. This will take time, but due to the adversity of our hold chainlink holders will be a higher quality of whale than the average BTC and ETH whale. We will be less likely to lose our wealth to mindless hedonism due to the hardships of holding through the lows. You may indeed have to wage for the next 7 years, but you will come out a stronger person.

But the point that anon made was correct, Chainlink thrives on increases in its fundamental value rather than speculative value which is why it performs better in bears than in bulls. No matter what happens the price of chainlink will swing wildly for the forseeable future. We are probably going to see violent pumps and pullbacks if LINK does take off during another bullrun.

Well if you want to get technical, links bear vs bitcoin ended 6 months into bitcoins bear last cycle, so it was bullish against all of crypto starting in June 2018 with only btc’s capitulation holding down its usd value. We’re actually seeing a very similar pattern thus far this bear market, link failing to hold 40k sats as support is discouraging in the short term but in the macro it’s still one of the best performers since June. Just sort of hidden since no singular large pumps and consistently being held down in usd as btc trends lower.

Still feels like the overall market needs a further cleansing, dogcoins need to fall and the bnb casino needs to shit itself before I feel macro bullish.

"The proof-of-concept project is a 12-week effort that will test the feasibility of an interoperable digital money platform called the regulated liability network (RLN). It will use a distributed ledger—like the blockchain technology behind bitcoin. The goal is to improve financial settlements and will involve central banks, commercial banks, and regulated non-banks........ The list of participants in the pilot program includes BNY Mellon, Citi, HSBC, Mastercard, PNC Bank, TD Bank, Truist, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo. Global payments provider Swift is also participating in the effort, along with the New York Innovation Center (NYIC), part of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York."

In reality all fudders are just the same 5 or 6 people who are incredibly unwell and have literally no life. They spend 20 hours a day on this board, or twitter, fudding Chainlink. It's very sad. What's even more tragic is that Uncle Oldfag (Michael) likes to pretend he has lots of money when in reality he's totally broke. He lives off of disability and hasn't had contact with the outside world in years. I don't know what pushed him to seethe so much about Link. I understand now, but I also understand Sergey's approach. He's waiting until the entire Ethereum ecosystem is so entirely dependent on Link AND there are no possible viable alternatives to Link. If he starts charging full price now then developers may opt to use a cheaper shittier oracle, just to save money. chainlink is trying to force eth and every other blockchain that wants there services on it to dedicate part of each block to oracles for the public good. this would make node gas coast zero or practically nothing, this is a better long term solution especially during high traffic high volatility times sense oracles won't need to compete with everyone else on gas to keep people from getting volatility exploited/rugged

Basically what is happening yes, and in the short run it's really at the expense of the Link token.

ETH gets too much of the pie in defi because Sergey is sponsoring the nodes. Once this stops, a shitload of value will flow to LINK nodes.

The public feeds are sponsored by the users though.

I wonder if fudders will start to sell each other out for link tokens once the inevitable singularity happens?

What do you think wealthy linkies would do with that kind of information? Do you think they're mentally ill enough to abduct and torture people over some silly fud posts?

No I was. Back then you had many great posts in between the FUD. Nowadays anons seem tired and no is discussing seriously anymore. Third world scum ruined Link threads

Could just make their lives hell. Usual stuff, spook them, dox them, or my personal fav which is have them hacked and CP put on their computer. Get them sent down for CP so they'll be sitting in jail with a sore bottom knowing it was us who put them there. All do-able.

if this does happen, it would be the most bullish thing to happen to link. it would confirm every conspiracy about them trying to get rid of us at all costs.

Here's a little sample of what Link fud looked like in the months just before Link reached its ATH against BTC and ETH.

Link had already been beating the entire market for two years at that point.

thats RIGHT, fudsisters
NO ONE CARES ABOUT LINK
and we have to make threads about it 24/7 to tell everyone that
NO ONE is paying us - we do this for free
chainlink is UNIMPORTANT - which is why we have to make so many threads about it
and uh... yeah lets go with the made-up wallet stats
maybe these stupid chainlinkers will give up and sell their staked tokens if we post these

alright guys great work
lets meet in the usual channel to come up with our next strategy to stick it to these CHAINSHITTERS in 5 minutes!!!
