There's gnosticism which has a general on /X/ sometimes, check the archives. It's pretty based but I don't believe in it. If you're interested in Christianity it's worth looking into, even if merely learning about the non-canon gospels (Nag hammadi library) that the Catholic church rejected, and the history of what the church did to those that interpreted the word of Jesus differently.

I was returning to camp via rick-shaw from the aero-drome, (my shipment of restorative tonics arrive'd today!) when the following sight struck me as soundly as a dastardly Turk might strike a defenseless child;

Needless to say, my humors were thrown at once out of alignment, and it was only a hearty swig of Doc McGillicuddy's Nerve and Moustache Elixir which rouse'd me from my stupefie'd state. (While my nerves did in-deed become quite regular as advertised, I had no need of it's facial hair thickening properties. Damn and blast your eyes, Doc Macgillicuddy! I've already got as robust a moustache as a man can rightly ask for, and now thanks to your tonic, I shan't be able to go so far as the local haberdashery without lower-classmen stopping to compliment my moustache's lustrous, full-bodied sheen!)

No sooner than I had stood up, than helpful native children surround'd me, and brush'd the dust from my overcoat in ex-change for the candy and small trinkets they have come to expect. I did not disappoint, producing a slide whistle and some peanut brittle from within my vest.

"What manner of inscriptions are these?" I querie'd the most likely candidate for ownership of the autocarriage which had so dis-quiet'd me. "They are quite frightensome to even a gentleman of my fortuitous constitution." The savage struggled for some time to understand Queen's english, finally offering a string of phonetic gurgles, that I was able to decipher as an attempt to entice me into worship of the favored local deity. "Nay good sir," I spake proudly, "I was born a follower of the noble Zoroaster and so I shall die." What follow'd was an incantation un-intelligible to man or beast alike, and surmising that some manner of hex was being cast upon my person, I fled in terror. I am loathe to admit such a thing, but caution is the friend of the wise, where dark magickry is at play!

Very cool
But gotta be honest, once you get over the fact they were literally Hitler they're kindof boring coins from a numisfag perspective. I wish Hindenburg's relief was fuller bodied, it's too flat. Reminds me of a state quarter bust vs a Washington quarter bust
Coolest part about them is the edge lettering, which is legitimately incredible how deep it went

Read the bible, realize pretty much every major church is a fraud that ignores or contradicts biblical principals in favor of mass appeal, materialism, and western neoliberal politics, and just stick to talking about religion with private bible studies and religious scholars. Catholicism is heresy that prays to saints and worships Mary, people that say they're true merely cope. They were good as a political force but have always been utterly retarded as a religious one, still seethe about Martin Luther 500+ years later.

Lots of kids here. They spout what they think they know as fact.
"Asahi Refining was formed when Asahi Holdings acquired the nearly 200 year old Johnson Matthey gold & silver refining businesses. Asahi Holdings is a Tokyo, Japan based precious metals recycling company (collection, recovery, refinement) founded in 1952. The company has approximately 1,360 employees. Throughout the years it has grown from a single location recovering silver from photographic solutions in to a London Good Delivery refiner now operating in 6 countries through its subsidiaries processing gold, silver, and platinum group metals."
https://www.linkedin.com/company/asahi-refining

Johnson-Matthey:
"From a single office in London in 1817, we've built a global presence with significant operations in more than 30 countries.
We support our customers' needs from 43 major manufacturing sites all around the globe, providing consistency and quality wherever you are, from South Africa to North Macedonia, the USA or China. As we move into our third century we are continuing to invest in our footprint to ensure we're best positioned to serve our customers and future demand."
https://matthey.com/contact-us?assetCategoryIds=&sort=ddm__keyword__232321__Country

"Johnson Matthey announces that it has agreed to divest its Gold and Silver Refining business to Asahi Holdings, Inc. (Asahi), a collector, refiner and recycler of precious and rare metals from waste materials, for £118 million (US $186 million) in cash, subject to typical post-closing adjustments. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of March 2015."

I'll tell you what this board won't. You need a stack of fiat (paper money or bank account money) before you collect PMs. If you have an emergency and are forced to sell your PMs, you lose a ton on the total spread in the short term. This is how they get you. Ideally you want stuff months expenses in savings, but that's unrealistic for you I'd imagine. Take your initial $2k, keep$1000 in the (((bank))) and hide$1000 in paper cash. Then just put that $100/week into silver.
Actually I'd put fifty into silver and fifty into the cash stack, and when your cash stack is high enough buy one ounce of gold.
If you don't have good weapons and a good safe place, I'd stick with bank money until that changes. If my wife wasn't home all the time and a crack shot (and stone cold bitch) I wouldn't keep this shit at home. If you do, you're just stacking for Jamal and Tyrone.

Add up either 6 months of expenses or 3 months of your total earnings. Choose one or the other and keep it seperated 50% in the bank the other 50% in cash at home. This is your emergency fund. After you have that, this is when you can go deep into au or ag, but for the time being I would just stick to your $100 per week and DCA into metals. If you really want to FOMO in, the recommended ratio here is 100ozt Ag to 1ozt Au.

But are you debt free? I can see letting your mortgage ride hoping that inflation eats your debt (a major reason why (((they))) will do almost anything to prevent this,) but if you have high interest credit cards or personal loans pay those of first.
As far as PMs to buy, you got to think I'm terms of the worst case scenario for you. If silver goes nowhere and the currency remains stable are you okay with eating the premiums and holding the bags for years?
If I was you, I'd buy one ounce of gold, one tube of silver, put at least a grand of paper cash in the stack as well. Then I'd just wait for dips and buy online if I trusted the mail, in person with the cash of I did not.
I personally only do one ounce bullion coins and junk/constitutional, but it's important that you buy what makes you feel good, because of the economy doesn't collapse you'd better enjoy looking at/fondling it, because your going to be spending quite a bit in premiums to do so.

And next year it will be delayed again. And again, ad infinitum. This shit would legit be the only thing able to trigger a revolution in the US, alongside internet getting shut down.
What are the last labor force participation numbers for ppl 20-65? 60-61%?
The remaining 40% aren't just full time housewives in a country who don't marry. They are ppl fed up with the system who are partial-quitters. Ppl who would rather see their lifestyle greatly diminished than going back to the wagecage.

In a country with basically no benefits for the average Joe, their only way to survive is to flip stuff on ebay, arbitrage on amazon, gardening services on craiglist or sell their own creations on etsy. Most make just enough to feed themselves and pay the bills.
If the (((gubment))) start hitting on the ppl who already have nothing to lose too hard, it will backfire with epic proportions.

Especially when you have the Fed's only motto being
>we need to layoff everybody to save the economy
So far it's a controlled demolition, with the $600 reporting, it will become an uncontrolled demolition, and they don't want that.

You are imagining wrong then. Being legal tender automatically make them taxes exempts in most countries, while rounds are subjects to VAT.
Also the recognization factor is a big deal, they are the most liquid items because wildly known.
Finally, since they are legal tender, faking them is considered counterfeiting money, which fetch lifetime in most nations too since it's the worst crime imaginable perpetrated against a government.

They are delaying it because it would inconvenience the stockholders of the federal reserve. Once they are ready and they have covered most bank ledger money into digital fed coin then they will do this and far worse.

Open an IRA if you don't have one or something similar, contribute as much as you can this year.
Instead of asking 'how much to put in', consider how much of your net worth you're comfortable putting into PMs. It all depends from person to person. I personally do about 10%, though that number is slipping due to what I believe are better buying opportunities thanks to the recession.

Based, when silver moons and becomes a sexy and credible store of wealth in the minds of normies again antique sterling will become much more desirable and valuable. Thousands of ounces of the stuff is refined every day so there is less in existence now than ever before, there won't be remotely enough to satisfy demand if the wheel turns 'round and it becomes trendy again. Most modern and low quality stuff should be refined but the venerable high quality antique silver should be preserved. At worst we'll have gobs of silver we bought well below melt value that is still worth around spot price but i think stacking antique cheapies has significant upside potential above and beyond normal boring modern bullion, and as collector items they would be safer from risk of confiscation (look at Roosevelt's often overlooked 1934 silver confiscation executive order) than a pile of Engelhards.

personally I prefer coins because they are beautiful and have a face value and historical value. especially the .900 purity stuff as it can actually be handled without too much concern. they stack nicely and can be flipped or put in tubes. or coin holders to keep them secure and close to you. bars typically will stay in an ugly blister pack and are too soft to play with.

Those German candelabras usually have a base metal nickel-silver plate on the bottom and probably some steel washer weights or solid filler inside the base but are otherwise usually hollow and of decently thick gauge in my somewhat limited experience. If it's completely filled with cement, resin or plaster crap then the yield will be lower but the german pieces tend to have hollow sturdy relatively thick gauge arms etc. There are many variables so I'd estimate anywhere between 200-270 grams of .835, my hunch is around 230-240g

Yeah it tends to be monogrammed and dented or worn down and appropriate refinery fodder, but always research the silversmith marks because some coin silver items are worth gobs, typically pieces made in antebellum southern states from what I've seen. thanks anon. It's a Leopold FC900RN
It has CherryMX switches. Reds or Browns I think. I wanted the loudest high end switches I could get but I had to take whatever they had available. I was a little surprised how much of a back order some of the CherryMX switches were

I wanted something full size vintage throwback IBM style that was like the keyboards I used when I first learned how to computer back in the dark ages.
I love these things. The sound of mechanical keyboard is absolutely comfy. I love the look and feel of it. and its heavy too.
I bought 3 versions of it lol

nothing secret or ulterior about them maintaining two different storefronts and names. I believe it was JM Bullion that purchased Provident. and their business model was top continue Provident more or less as is

JM bought Provident a few years ago, and was then bought by A-Mark, they're the same company. I've never had any issues with either. SD is fine as well, I ordered a lot from them before their prices started going up. Monument is also good, and often have the lowest prices, but they are really slow. I don't really care about that though, I can wait if it means more metal for less fiat.
