Coinbase stock is at $35 right now.
They have over 5 billion in cash
company marketcap under 10 million

they destroy with high fees, but people trust them and would gladly pay more in fees if it means they THINK that their money is safe

Also partnered with blackrock that had this stock 300% higher a few weeks ago but normies cant see shit

quoting buffet again "be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful"

People are fucking fearful now, I'm backing up the truck. I've been heavy in coinbase since the FTX collapse, now I'm really diving in after watching my port go from 41k to 12k in a week on coin options, I'm doubling down

>> No.52934677

I've been thinking of grabbing some also, just running out of actual cash and will have to shuffle things around. Shit just hit it's 52 week low, and one of the only exchanges with Any credibility

they are publically traded, their finances are out there for everyone to see, I think the March options that cost $150-250 each are a good sweet spot, goal is to get those and then sell weekly calls IF we see a recovery to $45 or so, there could be some sweet sweet premium selling options

Blackrock is the biggest asset manager on planet earth, and this is their partner for crypto.

9 billion marketcap for a company with 5 billion in cash that just lost its second biggest competitor

>> No.52934828

coinbase is in trouble because the market is still actively shitting the bed. If more exchanges go down then the market for crypto will dry up. Coinbase makes money off of fees, but if no one trusts crypto as a whole then coinbase will be in the red until bankruptcy.

tough to say about crypto, trump NFTs are exciting people.

"In it for the tech" projects still have people that want to buy and sell it. BTC seems low at this level, all you need is a minor bit of excitement to get people to throw their money at this

I have my holdings in crypto anyway, may as well sell some to get some options while coin is priced out of reality

even as a turbo bull, their bonds really scare me

their bonds appear to be yeilding about 16-18% right now, shows a lot of concern in the market.

their cash position seems great though. If crypto lives, coinbase will be seen as the safest name.

>If crypto lives, coinbase will be seen as the safest name.
no, there are clearly safer exchanges that aren't IPO'd and waste a ton of money marketing, e.g. FTX, Binance, & Coinbase.
the other thing is, well, they don't call it "goybase" for nothing.
you stupid goy.

the final redpill is to know that normies are cattle but to love them anyway.
normies love coinbase.

which exchanges are better? only DEX?

don't mean to be the one to stick up for coinbase. don't like the company ethics wise, I just think that at these prices its a steal, same thing I would for any company that is undervalued, but this one is LOW LOW

normies liked goybase because it's the closest experience to a traditional brokerage in crypto.
but normies have lost confidence and aren't in a rush to throw money in the same scams they would've a year ago.

the entire stock market is overvalued.

I will offer, that thought is incorrect.
goybase might appreciate as you'd expect, however your "outperformance" on goybase would've been better suited on actual crypto and would carry far less risk, as long as you're not staking or leaving on exchange.
realistically though, you probably won't make money buying goybase stock, because, as said earlier, the entire stock market is overvalued.

I think they took a serious reputational hit when they fired people without telling them out of the blue. A company like this isn't Twitter they really need to avoid looking like they are broke as much as possible, fire in batches of like 4 once every week/two weeks something like that.

if you spot buy than buying cryptos will generally outmoon the coin stock, so you are forced with options
then the theta becomes a problem: how far otm and how far out in months did you buy your options

granted its a possible play, but spot buying top cryptos is probably a better plan with far less risk as you can hold forever costfree

>> No.52935891

here's the other thing, some of you anon's are going, yea but goybase is a partner or something with blackcock.
well, yea, but that's a sign of decay.
blackcock used to be only politicians and ultra--wealthy could invest in their funds.
when they opened it up to retail investors, that's when they started making dumbass trades like investing heavily in real estate.
the point is, some of you are interested in the blackcock, but those are rose colored glasses of what you used to know the firm to be.
the relationship is a bad thing, just to be clear.
here's another misdirection, goldman sachs said mid november goybase will go to $42 - $49/share.
well, they always tell their investors to buy when they're selling, they create their own private market.
so, simply, it should go down because the goy advice is to buy.
