the grift is pretty simple: present a business model that looks reasonable on the surface, at least enough to withstand surface scrutiny of the average investor. release a token that you shoehorn into the business model, doesn't matter if it doesn't really make sense. hype it up as much as you can, early mover advantage is huge here. dump the token on investors, only do the bare minimum amount of work, string your investors along for as long as possible. the goal is to sell every token you created, each is pure profit. pretend like established players care aboit you, make them endorse you in public by paying them with investor money
