Whats a good front to show normies? You can't tell everyone straight up you've retired in a vacation spot. It's better to use something like "investor", "liquidity provider", or "consultant".
Any ideas?

I've been saving and investing for 9 years now. Fucked around in crypto more than I'd admit but also made a lot of money through some gems. Also kept it safe and diversified into other assets early on.

Based. I remember reading made up job title threads here back in 2020 and it made me kek. I think my favourite was "I research and invest in decentralized speculative assets and provide liquidity to the world's largest decentralized exchange" or something. Still have the screencap saved somewhere.

My advice will sound like boomer advice now but unitonically keep going. Don't fall for get rich quick stuff. Just DCA into BTC and PMs, and some other solid projects. Making it is all discipline.

If you are moving somewhere who does not see someone who has done well enough to retire early as an admirable trait, you need to move somewhere with better neighbours

If I ever make it, I am moving to a nice house in the mountains of North Wales, and helping out at the village fairs, mowing the church lawn, and brewing vast quantites of beer, cider and wine

Place has mostly rich Europeans and retired boomers. Also a lot of partying sloots during the holidays. I'm not worried about what neighbour's think, I just want to remain stealthy for various reasons.
I'm sure many will recognize me but it will be like an unspoken understanding.

OK, sorry if my comment came across as overly harsh.

I would recommend considering my approach. Try using the opportunity of more time to become a respected member of your community.
