Observation and Experience did a lot more for me than trying to learn the academics and supposed tips and tricks honestly. Once you understand what's happening, it's pretty simple and straight forward. Just observe this place and learn the jargon, make some trades with a centralized or uncentralized exchange and it will all come together. Good luck.

2 tips of advice once you really get into this.
1. Do not be swayed by public outcry to short early. Some people hold their coins yearly and make a lot. Others want quicker cash
2.Depending on if you want to spend money to make bigger gains or not, sometimes getting a bunch of a really small coin and waiting for it to moon / rise high really fast can be the better option.(Also worth noting though is that not all small coins are guaranteed to moon, although some are really spontaneous with it. Get used to the pattern, then learn when to make the call.

Learn about blockchain technology, and then you’ll know what coins to trade.
