not quite true. the dark net is just an extreme environment test, so that we know its good enough for everyone. Criminals are always teh first people to adopt new tech, followed by everyone else. Dark net usage DOES give a bottom line unlike other cryptos, which can go theoretically to zero. store of value is a propaganda meme unless there is underling utility first.

when even criminals are having trouble getting utility out of XMR. the blockchain tech itself might be solid but the privacy protocols that go along with it (tor/i2p) are currently struggling/dying
