mcap = last price * amount of circulation

keep dreaming linkboi, how's your "proof of reserve" meme going?

I don't see how ETH's marketcap is relevant for LINK services. They will all continue running. I guess you could say security is somewhat diminished because with POS higher marketcap means higher cost for 51% attack

then why can nobody unstake?

I was actually wondering the same thing
It's only a matter of time before the ETH normies who don't follow crypto day in and day out start to learn that they got rugged
Once that happens who knows how far the bottom can drop out

but what about price action? will it be minor due to exchange liquidity?
or will it have serious consequences on price?
I'm a retard

No it's actually real, they just completely removed any reference to a time frame like a few days ago. Cementing that it's actually over for ETH steakhouse bros

they're afraid if they let you redeem in the current (highly volatile) crypto environment that it'll crash the whole market. Honestly they're right

because it's part of the next hardfork, just as previously announced. it's already implemented on testnet and can be tested after relaunch.
>>52636216
they're just not sure what else goes into the shanghai hardfork so they removed the timeline for now. it'll still be part of it, chud.

so brian armstrong is the regulation here?
afaik the "staking" is just done on coinbase with his validators through cb ETH.
Can validator nodes also not redeem!?

eth literally does not have the unstake operation built yet

>but what about price action?
LINK used to move with ETH most of the time since it's an ERC token, so ETH shitting the bed would normally have a negative price effect on LINK. However, since 2020 and during the whole of 2021, ETH booming did absolutely 0 for the LINK price. I hope this means the reverse is also true.

From a TA perspective, the LINK/ETH chart looks like it finally bottomed out so there is room for LINK to make up the "muh 90% down vs ETH" when ETH decides to rug. We'll see. I'm feeling pretty good about the next 2 years though.

Blockchain agnostic, educate yourself. They'll just mint fork the token on another blockchain
