The Ten Classic Signs You Are In A Cult:

1. The leader is the ultimate authority
>Sergey depicted in memes as a king, a god, Jesus on the cross
>followers hang on his every word, mesmerized by his presentations even though he's been using the same slides for 3.5 years

2. The group suppresses skepticism
>all critical thought about LINK is FUD
>questioning LINK will get you called a redditor, newfag, or a salty nolinker

3. The group delegitimizes former members
>memes depict LINK sellers swinging from a rope
>popular figures like Timo, Cryptojuice, and even Dave Portnoy are mocked endlessly despite making a profit by selling LINK

4. The group is paranoid about the outside world
>LINK cultists insist that the "kikes" want your LINK
>the only reason it doesn't pump is "price suppression" by the globalist Great Reset New World Order

5. The group relies on shame cycles
>people who don't have the prescribed "suicide stack" of LINK are mocked and shamed until they irresponsibly spend over $80,000 to acquire 10k LINK

6. The leader is above the law
>linkies hate anyone who sells LINK
>but when Sergey sells 40 million dollars of LINK every Friday for a year, it's a good thing

7. The group uses “thought reform” methods
>DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

8. The group is elitist
>the linkie believes he is superior to the nolinker, even if the nolinker has made many times his profit, because one day LINK will moon. he knows this, based on faith.

9. There is no financial transparency
>nobody knows where Sergey's weekly 40 million dollar dumps are going
>one blog post update every 6 months

10. The group performs secret rites
>esoteric saturnism
>eric holder killed paul walker
>rosicrucian numerology
>municipal marmalade
>cult of demeter
>jonny rims horses

That's one of the most interesting parts of all of this.
These are companies, yet people expect them to pay out some kind of financial reward via these tokens.
The really funny part is that they *can't* actually pay out these rewards, else risk being labeled a security.
And with link where the token can be used, and in theory demand can provoke a rise in the price of the token, everyone forgets that Chainlink Labs holds enough supply to balance out and direct all the additional profits back into their own coffers.
It's quite the ingenious scam. Especially the emotional attachment and sunk cost fallacy parts.
Pretty impressive desu.

This. It's annoying hearing that "staking" is almost out. They threw the hodlers a bone for a test version after failing to deliver on any of the Jan 1 announcements. Now they can technically say staking did come out, but it's still a pathetic look. And guess what, Sergey could care less. The "community" is a means of helping him fund his pet project, and nothing more.

When the culties screech that the team owes you nothing, that's unironically how Sergey sees it. They are simply parroting their cult leader's message.

because the only thing that matters for alts is what it's price relative to bitcoin, or even ethereum is.
chainlink topped out well into the top 10, meaning no matter what happens in the future you're looking at minimal gains on that 2020 top, and that means it's simply not worth holding after that point.

Based because its true. Indistinguishable from XRP baggies in form and function. It's clear all the high IQ og's of LINK dumped on /pol/ migrant baggies, likely due to them being the most susceptible to half-baked theories if repeated enough.

I hold because I know what is coming. I'm not a trader. I just remember being a kid and the moment it clicked for me how wild it was that someone could have bought Google at IPO or Amazon a year after the bubble burst and hold. How much the boomers in my life talk about how they wish they had held but were afraid after getting burned in 2001 on dotcom projects that went bust (e.g. "Knowitall.com, which was supposed to be the search engine killer)
We have a chance to buy the AWS, HTTPS protocol, and Bloomberg terminal feed of the next 25 years all rolled into 1, at under $6 per cube

I didn't realize the entire 2021 bull run was scamman fraud's doing, so I assumed it would work like other bull runs. I knew exactly when the SNL bitcoin top hit, but I didn't sell my alt coins because I expected a 1 to 2 week alt coin run after bitcoin's top just like every other bull run. I've questioned myself for a year and a half trying to figure out what I did wrong to end up screwing myself with greed, and only after seeing the FTX bullshit did I finally understand what happened.
