I really think that this is what happens:

>Dead bodies continue to surface after the FTX debacle, insolvent market makers, institutions etc.
>Institutional bid completely backs out of crypto
>Tons of calls for regulation, there is some type of fight in the courts/congress that spooks people
>Ultimately nothing gets done after 2 yrs of fighting debating
>Crypto slowly climbs back and establishes itself

The next bullrun will be completely different. The only thing that will remain the same is at the end, there will be tons of people who are rich, and way more that are completely ruined.

I suspect the theme will more so be about DeFi, and self custody then about crypto soi stuff. NFTs, CEXs, Web3 was all a scam. The only thing that gains value from decentralization are DeFi protocols and their settlement layer.

We are in for a few years of sideways ETH and BTC. No institutional money will flow in after this. The majority of the next few years is going to be diehards PvPing on chain. The good news is there is probably only less than 30 protocols that have a chance in hell of making it. So if you are able to find those and bid soon, you should have way more BTC and ETH next run.
