We do anon. Good service is very much appreciated and something to be proud of. I hear bad things about the tip culture in the US but here in Germany tip is 10-20% average. In Germany tips are on top of the fixed salary and usually all tips get split between service and kitchen crew equally.

I'm a bartender and waiter, I don't get this at all, so maybe somebody can explain it to me. Why do people care so much about an even amount coming out of their account?
