With that kind of money your goal should be to steadily buy in. If you can afford putting $100 a week into crypto, especially litecoin or ethereum. You should do so. Do not worry about making quick gains. The best thing you can do is buy and hold. Once you have made some money, then you can go into the alt coins. Remember, everyone is shilling here. Once you buy a coin, you automatically want others to do so because it will increase the value.

Do your research, take everything with a grain of salt. Never go all in unless you're okay with losing all of your money. This is basically like gambling, and the psychological effects on your mind are similar. Don't fall into the sunk cost fallacy, know when to cut your losses and don't get greedy. If you've invested in the coin and the price goes up by over 100% quickly, do not be afraid to sell and pull out. The higher it goes, the less chance it will go higher, at least in a fast time frame.
