This new slide caught my attention at the keynote yesterday.

Compare this to last year's CCIP slide. And if it's not clear enough, Sergey pretty much spelled it out for everyone;

> Just like no one gives a shit about which cloud service Netflix uses, no one gives a shit about what blockchain is used as long as the dapps work without a hitch

Sergey just called Ethereum fucking irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Wait a minute...
>Chain....Link....Linking of chains
It was Sergey's plan all along, how could I only be putting 2 and 2 together right now. I don't have enough link

It's also a shit coin on other chains too.

Anyway it's a dumb take, Ethereum still matters. It is still the most secure and used generalized/smart contract chain. Devs and users will eventually spill into eth l2s and CCIP will make this easier (as well as making it easier to spill into eth alternatives)

Chainlink will be removing barriers to capitalistic competition between chains and that it truly positive. The market will be able to decide what level of security & performance metrics are important to each use case for blockchains. Right now the barriers are high and there's a lot of sunken cost into composability

I think I’m not the only one on here that realizes that the Chainlink discussions here aren’t organic at all.

A complex mix of paid shills and bots post memes and start conversation. Real anons browsing /biz/ think these convos are real and start making convos themselves. Then when things die down, the bots and paid shills start again to capture new bagholders.

For me, Ari's presentation was the low point of the day. He wasn't very engaging and I can't stand watching people in masks. It would have worked better with just the slides and his voice over them.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Eric also referred to the entire blockchain space as “your chains” when talking to Sergey. We’re gonna be so fucking rich.

It was terrible and the guy he brought on to do the demo was even worse. No one wants to hear someone with a thick accent bumble through a tech demo. What’s frustrating is that Ari seems like he could be cool and engaging but instead he’s just like a total non-entity.

Dude, FSS, I knew it was a big deal and an important project, but it only hit me right then,

> There's a price tag for their services and it ain't gonna be $free.99

When you have the chance to go to Uniswap where you're vulnerable to getting fucked over by the MEV mafia versus the opportunity to go on FSS swap (powered by Chainlink™), you're never going back to Uniswap.

So now all DEXes, Sushiswap, Trader Joe's, Pancakeswap, whatever, have integrate FSS into their system and pay Chainlink their rent or else they're fucked. And to add insult to injury, they better brand that Powered by Chainlink™ tag to their project's ass (which I can't find, so someone do the needful please) else people will think it's a scam.

Chainlink now owns all DEXes thanks to Moneyskelley's fuck up and enabling of the MEV mafia. Hell, because there are different block builders on ETH, some MEV boosting block builders to "ethical" MEV block builders, Chainlink will also dominate block building space, thereby usurping Ethereum from Money skelley too.
