Found this in numista. The original smiley! It's kinda hard to make out the numbers but it actually says "50 ans de sourires".
And although it's a 2022 coin, I have no idea where you'd buy this. Don't remember seeing it on laposte.fr last time I browsed. And as far as the silver content, it's only .333 of a 17g coin, so if you're paying 10 euros for it, that's nearly $55/oz. Which I guess sounds about right for the kind of overprised stuff they sell on laposte.fr, heh.

Well compare the prices yourself on dealers that are based outside the EU, for example:
silvergoldbull.com
bullionbypost.com
Versus dealers that are actually in the EU, such as:
acheter-or-argent.fr
goldsilver.be
You'll see that the former have silver prices in euro currency that are much higher. I don't know how to explain it other than they're using a different tax scheme.

Could be the case, but European companies probably just want to make more money on each coin sold.

Using Maples leafs as an example when comparing 3 shops, 2 American and 1 European. I think the price can be mostly explained by what the stores themselves want to charge for the coins. Apmex is one of the most popular places to buy coins in the US but their coins are more expensive than both the American silvergoldbull and the European europabullion, they probably just felt that they could charge more and get still manage to sell just because of they're well known.

Nice score, fren. I managed to snag a few of them for myself and my family members who also stack. As far as future price goes, if nothing else, it will have value from being one of the early coins in a series.
They'll be harder to cop 5-6 years into the future, and that's when one could potentially make a decent profit selling to a collector of the series. You'd be surprised what people will pay for "that one final coin" to complete a series.

USA is where it wanted to be. Fed and US gov created worldwide inflation by printing dollars to buy assets around the world. Domestic prices in foreign countries went up because they had to compete with USA buyers. This disrupted world economy.
As a result, citizens of those countries lost trust in local currencies and are buying dollars, hence the recent gain in strength.
In short, USA won, rest of the world lost and will now struggle.
The only way for foreign currencies to save themselves is to attach themselves to something real, like Russia did with Rubel during sanctions. I think that's part of the reason why East is buying so much gold and silver at premium.

The drain continue in the comex's vaults. Another 1.2Moz of silver withdrew today. We are now over -70% of depletion, with only 44Moz left, the lowest it has been in a long time.
Same goes for gold, the depleting of the vaults is following the same pattern, and interestingly enough, at the same ratio. Bankers hold 3.35oz of silver for each oz of gold, and the registered are falling at the same rate (over 1% per day for both metals rn, it's never before seen).

Something huge is brewing behind the curtain. The bleeding started in Jan 2021, but it accelerated to the current insanity around May of this year. You can clearly see it in pic related with gold registered broke down by vault.

I already exposed my theory, but i'll repeat it : kikes are crashing the prices all while depleting their vaults to trigger a Force Majeure, claim impossibility to deliver physical due to lack of collateral, and then lowball all the SLV/GLD holders with a cash settlement. Cash settlement who will of course be tied to the spot price, spot price the kikes carefully crashed to retarded levels.
Once it's done, price discovery will make both metals reach new highs, and the kikes will magically find back all the PMs they withdrew from the vaults.
This will be the mega jackpot.

Just open any price chart, it's obvious it's screaming acoomulation opportunity rn. And if you decide to wait, don't make it more than 2 months, because at the current pace the comex will be emptied before EOY. And if it happen, it will be too late for you to purchase anything.

Frens, I got three of these kilo bars yesterday. How can I confirm, that it is silver and not iron i.e.? With coins it was pretty easy, but since I have enough of them, I now decided to go for the cheaper kilo bars. Is there a website, where I can find detailed information about every silver bar and coin? I also tried looking at the volume and google says

>One kilogram of silver converted to cubic centimeter equals to 95.27 cc - cm3.

My bar has the dimensions 10,8cm x 5cm x 2cm = 108cm3, but it is not fully filled out with metal, as seen on the photos.

Would appreciate useful tips a lot! Also, it's a german silver bar, so might not be very common.

Wow, that's kikey. Domestic is only 12.95€, which is a lot but it's insured so it's not totally unreasonable. Still, for larger orders one of the German shops with differential taxing might make sense if you don't trust ebay fraudsters. Anyway, happy stacking.

Stack for the next system if you can. Most stackers don't want to trade metals back in for dollars. Although you can certainly average out and say, pay debts as the price rises.

You may not be able to trade with silver, but it's value wont deprecate. If you make it trough the turbulent times, you will still have all the money you put into silver when everybody else has lost almost everything. That's the real benefit I think, having a secure store of value.

One thing is very clear from history: people subjected to severe economic turmoil will find SOMETHING to use as money very quickly because barter is so inefficient. Cigarettes are a favorite, but they are consumed, are fragile, and also go stale. Ammunition is likely to be used as money if times are really tough, but then it will also be consumed. Ultimately, history shows, that people will preferentially use gold, silver, and copper coins as money as soon as they can. In the American colonies, and during "hard times" when money became scarce, private mints sprang up to mint copper and alloy tokens. Some numismatists collect "hard times tokens" and tokens issued by various commercial enterprises. So, yes, pretty likely that silver and gold will be used as money before very long after the collapse of the USD.

You should probably keep it sealed, that way the silver doesn't tarnish. Where did you buy it? If it's from a reputable dealer then you shouldn't have to worry. Also it's actually a coin, not a generic bar that would be less trouble to fake. But you can always take it to a LCS that have a machine for analyzing metal composition.
Also where did you buy it? I have the similar Cook Island 1 oz coin, and I've also seen someone post a 1 kg version of that coin, but didn't know they made bars too.

I'm glad you asked. Yesterday something occurred. Perhaps some insiders knowing how much gold and silver is now being bought by us. 8 years ago I decided, why invest in my home country stock market (Tajikistan) which doesn't seem to have much prospect for economic growth, I looked around and decided to fully enter the stock market. It was a mission , many obstacles but long story short I became one of the first individuals to get a foreign portfolio license to trade stocks. At the same time I was very much aware of financial rigging and market manipulation everywhere in the world. I wasn't yet buying silver but that would come later. I lost a stack a money in the early days investing. Once I became a silver stacker it became natural for me to look for some stocks which would do well with a gold/silver price rise. Zinc is a massive silver miner but all its silver operations are overseas. Eventually I found a couple, one a precious metals refiner but one other It's really the only stock which I can use to gauge the interest gold and silver buying. Check out their website, lovely silver - not bullion or coins but silverware, silver and lots of jewellery. I check the share price out every day and it has always just been flowing with the market . If most of my stocks are up, it's up and vice versa. It's a big stock and owned by some mutual funds. But yesterday was very different. Check out yesterday's share graph. All my other stocks were down heavy but it had a big upswing yesterday especially in the closing five minutes of trade. This tells me one thing. Lots of silver right now being bought at these low prices. When I buy silver they buy the type of silver that they sells. Put this together with all the silver leaving the Comex right now and I'm just sitting back and loving this show.

Can you share the website of the seller of silverware and jewelry you are referring to? Also I don't think I've heard of a Tajik silver stacker before, what is the precious metals culture like in your country? Do rural people store wealth in old coins and jewelry or gift metals for weddings?

Copper is amazing. The best way to enjoy stacking for cheap is to search through boxes of pennies. I have probably 100 pounds of copper pennies and a quick perusal of historical pricing shows just how much purchasing power can be pent up in useful metals.
Once all of that pent-up demand is moved/destroyed from the bond market, these silly little coins will be appreciate handsomely.

>>51483438
The only reason metal pricing is so low is because the dollar/bond market is still propped up. People still accept it as the de-facto store of value despite there being some serious problems with fiscal and monetary policy of the United States. The bond market is being decimated by inflation, and the U.S. economy is set to implode if the government stops deficit spending for even a day. There is no possible way for our economy to return to sound-fundamentals. We are headed towards a cliff and the only thing we can do is accelerate.
The thing people have a hard time understanding is just how much undue economic might America has. Yes, we are a massive economy and we will survive whatever storm is coming, but the amount of resources, and products we import is fucking massive. The historical mean for international trade is always zero. The dollar system allows us to import almost $700-800BN every year in excess of what we actually export. If we try to conceptualize this, almost 3-4% of our annual GDP is imported and paid for on credit and then leveraged into a massive amount of GDP via jobs, taxes, dividends, businesses. Imagine if the cost of oil spiked considerably, and think about how much wealth can just evaporate if the massive sprawl that is America can do nothing but tread water to afford it's energy costs.while simultaneously losing all those other cheap inputs. It makes my head spin thinking about what a catastrophe this could be, and that we are truly at the behest of the levels of cooperation from foreign powers. All of whom seem to be cozying up to China and Russia.

Im at the point where every metals expert that has a sponsor in their video im switching it off right away, most of these pm guys have made more than enough wealth over the years and especially at a time where the money they are making from that sponsorship is being devalued and is going to shit which makes it even more unsensible to sell out.

>> No.51485359

PMs will spike in price relative to other goods. People need to understand how to valuate different things. Some items will gain value, and others will lose. Regardless if prices of everything increase, that does not mean that your purchasing power is increasing as well if other commodities burn you in terms of food and gas.
The pent up purchasing power in the bond market will be flooding into physical goods. And because of that, over-leveraged items will be collapsing in value. Housing, for example, will have a floor based on the utility of it being a place to live. But any amount of luxury premium people pay will collapse as people have no ability to pay for that luxury due to wages never increasing at the same rate as housing. It was all a function of leverage, and injecting leverage simply means that at some point you will have to remove that leverage. No on can afford a million dollar house so good luck ever trying to sell it. A $200,000 house will lose the leverage premium as well, but nowhere near as much as the $1M house.

I disagree that anyone in the PM business is necessarily just a sell out. You have to be wary of salesmen, but a PM dealer is running a business and advertising a product and wanting people to protect themselves is not necessarily make someone suspect. Your local coin dealer will likely make the same videos if they were on youtube, doesn't make them nefarious.
I agree that his interviews are all the same and I don't really see the need to listen to his interviews ever again.

I want to buy an ounce as well because I do feel like my GSR is way too high. But holy shit, every fiber of my being tells me that the imbalance in the GSR as well as the possibility of the Dow:Gold ratio hitting 1:1 again screams to only buy silver. The desire to be diversified is smart, so I don't want to have zero gold. But damn do I feel like the correct play is too obvious to ignore.
I have FOMO'd in the past and had my ass handed to me. Overpaying because of FOMO made me lose about 40 ounces of silver if I kept my head cool and just waited. I see a similar scenario occuring in the future. If I had only bought silver during these last few years then I could magnify the quantity of gold I own a few years down the road if/when things normalize.
Trust the experts. Natural ratio is 16:1 and mine quality is deteriorating and output is closer to 8:1. Trust what you know and do not throw your money away because of emotions. The point of trading and investing is to end up with more value than what you started with. And that gameplan couldn't be more obvious.

I think you're underestimating just how resilient the current system is and how dumb normies are, but it's fine to speculate I guess.
I don't foresee things even getting that bad until mid 2023. And even then it's a maybe as to whether we'll see the entire system crumble.
What I'm betting on is a Fed mistake. Not even a pivot because that's locked in. But the bigger mistake they make now, the bigger the pivot will be.

No, I understand the got the whole system by the balls and the vast majority of people are room temp iq zombies. I do agree 2023-24 is when shit will really be going sideways. This is just the start of the slide down the slope.

> But the bigger mistake they make now, the bigger the pivot will be.

Yeah but like I say, the global system is fucking resilient, don't expect a high likelihood of shit cracking beyond temporarily-high energy prices and temporary supply shocks.
It's far from a done deal at this point.
In fact don't even look at the US right now, it paradoxically doesn't matter if you're looking for a catalyst to break the system to the point where the dollar goes to infinity.
The real catalyst will be Europe+Japan breaking, ideally both around the same time.

The other strong narrative in your/our favor is the Eurodollar futures curve predicting all-out disaster in 2023.

We're still ridiculously early and PMs could continue to go south from here, at least on paper.

Sounds like a worthy pile already fren, have you been watching out for local estate sale listings? It wouldn't take many scores of cheapie boxes of scrap to blast past 100oz and also drop your DCA way down. There is a nearby local estate sale I'm hitting next weekend, probably won't be terribly noteworthy but it shows some promise and getting there at opening is the best way to find out. On top of fattening the stack, the more scrap you handle the better you'll be at spotting more in the future which is valuable in its own right so good luck and be sure to post any joyous cheapie scores you luck upon!

You can bring a scale if you're not good at judging weight by look and feel in hand, beware of "weighted sterling" items like candle holders though which are thin sheet silver over a core of cement or resin and only yield 10-20% of their total weight in silver, they're usually stamped "weighted" or "loaded" so pay attention to bottom markings. Still great scrap if priced cheap. I'd say sterling under 40 cents a gram is a fair buy, the cheaper the better of course. Some sterling is highly collectible and valuable (Georg Jensen, Tiffany etc.) so even pieces priced at spot can be superb deals, research the makers of what you come across. Good luck and plz post pics if you get any deals!
