These loans come after a quick fire $600m loan at a high rate due to Citadel bonds/credit rating being near junk. Another filing showing that the terms include a demand to raise collateral immediately, and the possible changing of their ISDA Master agreement, potentially implying the banks are particularly concerned with the state of Citadels swap positions.

So while all this is going on, the CEO takes a high interest loan at unfavourable terms equal to his yearly take home, while taking advantage of Florida homestead laws to combine 4 individual mansions into one property and thus protected from bankruptcy. He is also, as I type this at 6.40am BST, on a flight to the Cayman Lands.

$600m is roughly equivalent to the amount Ken takes from the firm annually, you'd think he'd have more saved up after 30 years in business, and 15 years following their last near-bankruptcy.
