we all know miners need to dump their coins to pay for hardware and electricity.

what happens if eth miners don't need to sell anymore? eth becomes deflationary, dumping it would be retarded. Bitcoin inflates for the next hundred years while eth becomes scarce. People will hold unto their eth to mint more coins.

the flip will happen, eth will decorrelate from btc and dictate the price of all cryptocurrencies.

This is correct and it's not going to change, not even sharding will lower the fees tremendously. The fees on eth will always be high due to deflation. Vitalik wants us to use other layers for shitcoinerism. My point is that it's becoming more rare then btc.

Miners will mine another protocol whose value will increase with it's growing hardware footprint. Eth will have to cross it's fingers and hope it's still worth something when all the hardware is gone and it's solana tier centralization shitshow is off to the races. Eth pedos will just have to trust that infura's servers never go down
